So does anyone here collect movie scores?. Titles like Field of Dreams, Deep Impact, Armageddon (Not the Aerosmith OST that was released)?.
I've been a big fan of Movie scores and I have quite a collection. James Horner and Alan Silvester are probably the 2 greatest composers ever....

The only movie score I have is American Beauty. Great music, though it doesn't work as well as an album as the music does in the film. I keep meaning to buy some more Thomas Newman music, like Road to Perdition.
I do own a couple of Battlestar Galactica albums, which are pretty good.

As far as original scores go, Smokin Aces, LOTR, Inception, V for Vendetta, and The Crow are all favorites.
If we are talking just mixes of actual songs, my favorite has to be Great Expectations. Never actually saw the movie, but the soundtrack is fucking gold.
Batman Forever's soundtrack is oddly quality as well.

It depends on the artists or score composer. I like Clint Mansell and Danny Elfman. I like the soundtracks of Lost Highway, Underworld, The Crow... the score for Bram Stokers Dracula is awesome. Trent Reznor scores are awesome.

I have a few scores in my collection. Most of them are Batman related, as Elfman's original score was really my first favorite movie score to listen to. I've gathered some random ones here and there, like Terminator 3, The Incredible Hulk, and Watchmen.
I don't look for name recognition. I just like to hear what it sounds like.

Get these:
I love Georgio Moroder and Vangelis, many of theirs are here.
Bladerunner
Tron Legacy
Cat People
Chariots of Fire
Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence
Rocky IV
Saturday Night Fever
FlashDance
Scarface
Top Gun
Terminator
Rocky IV
If you're going on scores, then eliminate the ones with the pop songs above (Flashdance etc)
Jesus fucking christ though, there are indeed loads out there.
Bond ones are epic too.
