View Full Version : Hogan spoils WrestleMania angle, brother.
From PWInsider:
We noted yesterday that Jimmy Hart was done with TNA to do work with WWE for Wrestlemania weekend.
Hulk Hogan wrote about Hart working Wrestlemania on Twitter and may have given away a larger role for the WWE Hall of Famer, writing, "I think it's great for Jim Hart to go back to the WWE as Jerry Lawers manager at wrestlemania,I just hope it's not a one off like the Rock. Jimmy still lives for being right in the middle of all the action, he did what was best for himself."

Damn, if it's true which I believe it is as it's PWInsider, it should be interesting to see how this plays out. It would be good to see an actual manager in someones corner again instead of someone just thrown there.

So Cole w/Swagger vs Lawler w/Jimmy Hart and ??? as the guest ref. I figured Riley would end up being the guest ref there, but with his "fired" angle, it could be anyone now.

I wonder if Hulk posted that cuz he really is pissed and he hopes that since he spoiled it they will nix the idea all together. He ended his thing with "he did what was best for him"...which can be taken as a slight.

Tony Clifton will be the guest referee...only to swerve Cole and reveal it was JIM ROSS the entire time!
Was Hart his manager in the past or something?
Confused as to wat the point is.

I think he used to manage him in CWA in the 80's. Maybe they will get "Superstar" Bill Dundee to ref? Or one of the 47 moondogs they used down there.lol. As far as Hogan spoiling it goes. I don't give two squirrel nuts about Jimmy Hart. It seems like WWE is contacting anyone that wrestled in the 1900's to come in and help. I am betting J.R. will call the match, and Daniel Bryan will ref. I mean why else would Miz attack Bryan?

Yep Jimmy Hart managed Lawler in the late 70s and early 80s
I would love to see Superstar Bill Dundee make an appearance

Speaking of Hogan...check out this article about him and DDP's next movie. This is from joblo.com
Rock On Films is currently in development on a thriller titled BLACK RIVER. The film will star former professional wrestlers Hulk Hogan (ROCKY III) and "Diamond" Dallas Page (THE DEVIL'S REJECTS). Here is the synopsis:
After losing his son to a tragic accident, Clayton Elie's life was destroyed by alcohol abuse and violence that ended his marriage. When he moves to the small Midwestern town of Black River in an attempt to begin again, he finds himself at the center of a series of murders that echo a long dormant secret from the town's past. After several sleepless nights that lead to a long night of heavy drinking and a subsequent blackout, Clayton awakens the next morning to find his neighbor and her small child brutally murdered and the murder weapon inside his apartment. When he is forced to hide the evidence by the untimely arrival of an FBI profiler, Clayton's life rapidly deteriorates into a storm of violence, murder and small town intrigue. Is Clayton a cold-blooded killer, or the victim of a malevolent force that has descended upon the town of Black River?
So Page is set to star, but the real news is that Hogan will be playing a serial killer. Pretty cool. The film is directed by Joe Eckardt off a script by Eric Anderson. That's all we know at this point, but I'll be keeping tabs on this one.
I can't wait.

Awesome. I'm loving this angle more and more. Should be a fun match.
And I'm guessing Austin somehow becomes the guest referee despite Cole having his choice.

I'd like him to Atomic Leg Drop his victims.
Hulk Hogan is a douchebag. I know this is hard for some people, but sometimes its time to face facts.
I swear to God, someone gets a few big pops on RAW and everyone forgets what a massive shithead he is. Iconic, yes...but still a wanker.

Hulk Hogan is jealous that he came to TNA and got them absolutely nothing and that he is stuck in the crap hole while younger and better wrestlers are making a career in the WWE.
Younger and better wrestlers like Jimmy Hart.

We have just learned that Mick Foley, the man we knew in WCW as Cactus Jack, is booked to win their world title tonight...
I wonder if Bischoff even mentioned that they tried this once before and it kind of backfired...

A-Ri was only fired from the Miz's employment.

Which was his only connection to the WWE. He didn't get a contract and he was tossed from NXT. The only reason he was out there, was cause he was Miz' personal assistant.
Thus being fired from Miz' employ _should_ also mean he isn't employed in anything WWE related.
It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

Reading something about the ref now for Wrestlemania...looks like it might actually be Jimmy Hart doing that.
Jimmy Hart in Jerry Lawler's corner adds more than have him be the referee. Half of the current audience wouldn't know who he is, unless Lawler introduces him as an old friend from Memphis. And makes sense for Lawler to have him in his corner as well. There's history there.

Because unless they are a big name, chances are that they are. Jimmy Hart doesn't exactly equal a big name.

Oh my god are you retarded. Riley was employed by the WWE. You honestly think that he would be allowed to wrestle or preform without one? Jesus H. Christ on his pogo stick you're dumb Like...seriously retarded. How are you still alive after typing such a statement like that? Know what? GET SIGGED!
Honestly, before I watched that doc about Andy Kaufman as a wrestler, I didn't know Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart had any history either.

Umm 90% sure he's talking about it as it relates to the storyline. The storyline has always been that Riley works for The Miz not WWE. Alex Riley's portrait isn't even on the Raw roster page.
Of course in reality Riley is and always has been employed by the WWE but as far as the storyline is concerned he's now unemployed or should be anyway.

Until he says otherwise, he's talking like it's really the Miz Alex Riley is working for is what he believes.
He was quite obviously just responding to George Poit, Author's post in the context of the storyline.

On Twitter, someone asked Hogan why he never did a program with Bret Hart in WCW. Hogan said it was because Bret Hart had just had a stroke and they wanted to be careful.
I then tweeted Hogan saying "Bret came into WCW in late 1997. His stroke wasn't until 2002, more than 2 years after his last WCW match." Hogan then blocked me.
