You should not be legally allowed to own a blu ray player without Planet Earth.

You can't compare any of David Attenborough's works with each other. I have pretty much all of them on DVD/Blu-ray and I won't hesitate to get any further series his team makes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Attenborough#Filmography

I'm not really interested in replacing or updating many movies with blu ray. I like the upgraded quality, but not enough to go out and care enough to rebuild what's already a pretty huge collection of mine.
Especially since I feel it doesn't make a huge difference in a lot of movies.
I've put down the extra couple bucks on Dark Knight, Watchmen, Iron Man, Star Trek, Scott Pilgrim and a few others.
I bought Ghostbusters on Blu Ray cheap recently, and it looked awesome. I may do the same for Back to the Future. Mostly out of love for the movies and some respectable features/seeing them at their crispest form.
I'll get the Star Wars set. Maybe a couple others. Blade Runner has been one I've entertained.
But I'm not going to be spending the extra money on Hangover on blu ray while I still have an option.

The extended edition of the LOTR trilogy is dropping next holiday season. Definitely picking that up.
I apply the same logic to blu ray as Jeritron on that I only buy stuff that I feel benefits greatly from being in HD. Or if I really like the film. I only got my player at Xmas so the list is pretty short right now.
The Dark Knight
Shutter Island
Inception
Toy Story 3
Law Abiding Citizen (doesn't meet either criteria, was a present)
Watchmen
I was considering picking up the WrestleManias that are available on Blu Ray. Ayone know if they're worth it?
The cost difference between regular dvd and blu ray is like $1 or so for the wrestlemania disks. Go for it.
Looks to be £4 - £7 per event. :-\
I was referring to US prices on Amazon:
WM 26 on DVD (http://www.amazon.com/WWE-Wrestlemania-Collectors-Paul-Levesque/dp/B0037HERAM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1300051279&sr=8-2)

As soon as I got a blu ray player, I decided that I wouldn't buy dvd's anymore unless they're for like wrestling or something, like the documentaries and stuff. I'll probably get 'Manias and other ppv's on blu ray...but I very rarely buy dvd's anymore.
Ermaximus

I'll list them in a bit. Usually only buy these if it's the blu ray/dvd combo. Get them fairly cheap at Moviestop upon release. Older movies I tend to wait until Target puts them on sale for $9.99 or less.

Long story short, before moving back to Ohio, I got a free PS3. No games or movies, but why look a gift horse in the ass... or... however that metaphor is supposed to work?
I guess I'll get the other Rambo II/III double pack, for sake of completion. Can't think of anything really Blu Ray worthy that I don't already have on DVD or VHS.

I highly recommend the X-Men: First Class Blu-ray. I was awestruck by some of the extra features. Rent it on Netflix if you are not willing to buy it.

I'd like to get Prometheus, but I don't think there's an option to watch it with deleted scenes put back in, so I'll wait until someone on the internet makes a full length cut.

I got it on iTunes and it the quality sucks. Ridley Scott's commentary is the only good part about it.

My local Best Buy doesn't have them. I have the movie, but can't find any steelbook cases. Where are they located?
I believe they were available for a $7 deposit only during pre-order. Some dude is selling the case for 21 bucks on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=avengers+steelbook

Fuck that guy. Just because I have spare steel book cases of PES 13 and FIFA 13 at Gamestop doesn't mean I'm going to rip people off for them online.
Sucks bro.
If you are interested, you can get the first two Dark Knight movies in steelbook cases for $10-12 each on Amazon.
Best Buy will probably have a pre-order collectible steelbook for The Dark Knight Rises.
