Im not a fan of the brand split but it ain't gonna go away so what do you folks think to the wwe doing each year of programming as a season? You keep your brands as they are run your storylines have your champs etc. Then at each wrestlemania you have each champion face each, then the following raw you redraft everybody in the company and do the same thing over and over.
Isn't that pretty much what they do right now sans the champs facing each other at Mania (I'm guessing that's what you meant to type)? Only the draft comes about a month after Mania.

Yeah but not draft 5 guys, draft the whole locker room each year

Id rather they actually enforced the brand split again, they have the Bragging Rights PPV built around the interbrand matchups but its pretty meaningless when you see enough of them on a regular basis on TV.

A lot of the roster would end up where it already was anyway.

This.
I wouldn't mind seeing RAW and Smackdown treated like the AFC And NFC. Keep them apart all year - have absolutely NO RAW superstars appear on Smackdown and vice-versa and have strict rules against having them ever appear on PPV's together at the same moment (the show would almost literally be split entirely with no SD and RAW superstars appearing on screen at the same time).
At the Elimination Chamber you have two chamber matches for the World and WWE Titles and the two champions face each other at WrestleMania for the undisputed world champion trophy or belt or something, but after Mania it goes back to the RAW/Smackdown split and the two champions still retain their belts, just one is recognized as the WrestleMania (blank) Undisputed WWE Champion.
So no World Titles on the line at Mania? Hmmmmmmmm.
I like the idea of keeping them completely separate (and don't really like the way they are handling the brand split in the run to this year's Mania) but perhaps that Champion of Champions match should happen yearly at Bragging Rights.
[Coincidentally I'm watching the Champion of Champions match from Cyber Sunday 06 right now]

For me Bragging rights has nothing special about it except that its interbrand matchups, and if you get them on TV whats so special about that, theres already been a champion vs champion match on tv this year as it is. Id use Bragging Rights as a setup to Survivor Series, the overall winner getting an advantage in the Raw Vs. Smackdown elimination matchup for example, better yet a Wargames match. Give the winner of that match control of number 1 or 30 for the rumble and you can carry on the interbrand rivalry through till 'Mania annd the draft. The only Interbrand matchup id have on TV would be the KOTR final.
Yes. But if you eliminated ALL of the cross-brand stuff on TV and other PPVs...Bragging Rights becomes special.
Personally I hate that they have a 7-on-7 match at BR and then have Survivor Series - y'know the PPV based entirely on multi man tag matches. Traditionally at least. Even worse, in 2010 they had another 7-on-7 match at SummerSlam!!
If they insist on the Bragging Rights concept I'd like to see them change up what they do with Survivor Series. They could run a #1 Contender Tournament, so you end up with something like Deadly Game in 98. Not sure how that would work with 2 titles though. :-\
I agree that Bragging Rights needs to mean more than just a trophy that doesn't get mentioned for another 11 months. The #30 Entrant would be good. Or a "Free Draft" from the opposite roster.

It would become really boring seeing the same guys and no chances of any surprise appearances. Not really a big fan of the brand split in the first place.
Kill Bragging Rights and bring back KOTR.

The brand split would be 50 million times more better if they added blood and cursing because Cena is gay.

Wtf are you talking about? AFC and NFC teams face-off against each other all the time.

What I mean is keep them as two seperate companies so to speak, before each royal rumble each brand has a tournament or something like that to choose there 15 guys for the rumble with the winner getting a title shot later in the year and the only other time the brands would mix is wrestlemania where the champions of each brand face each other World champ vs WWE champ, US champ vs IC champ, Womans champ vs Divas champ, WWE tag vs World tag. Along with this you have the other top guys of each brand fight each in "dream matchs" kind of like what everbody wanted when the monday night wars happened. Since the brand split is gonna stay they need to treat it as 2 seperate companies so that when they do meet it means something

I've thought about something seasonal with the brands. You'd have two groups, and basically one part of the year features those guys on the road, and then the next features another lot. It'd give guys time to rest up, see their families, train some more, make movies, etc.
But I like the idea of the brand split keeping the rosters completely separate. They can better forge their own identities more.

A tournament with 15 winners? But one outright winner who gets a title shot at some undecided point in the future? :wtf:

Wrestling is so far past being treated like a real sport, this would fail miserably
No titles being defended at Mania is terrible to be honest, your concept for Mania takes out all the spectacle. Way too clinical of an apporach

In short, no it's not a good idea.
It's just fine the way it is.

Put the focus on the titles and give them back their lost credibility.
