View Full Version : Did the latest PS3 update screw Netflix for anyone else?

I did a google check, but got a fuckton of useless results.

I tried queuing up Netflix on my PS3. It was working fine a couple days ago, whenever I last watched before the latest update.

Then I updated today, because it was the first time I needed to do something online (Netflix). I log in. FREEZE.

I restart my PS3.

I am signed in to PSN already as it's set to do it automatically. It's already giving me the advert bullshit in the corner even, when I boot up Netflix again. It makes me log in like ten more times, then tells me I need to activate my PS3. I enter my email. FREEZE.

I reboot, go back in, and it freezes on the red loading screen. Obviously, FREEZE.

So I just switched over to my 360. I'd rather use my PS3 though, since it gives somewhat better picture quality on Netlfix.

Anyone else found any problems with this?

I've had no problem.

Wait, I take that back. The first time I tried it after the update, it wouldn't log me in technically, but it still worked. After that, no problems. Although today I had to go in and reenter my netflix info, which I've never had to do.

Maybe try going onto your netflix account and unregistering your PS3, then try to go back through and redo it.

Yeah, I think I'll try this out tomorrow and see if it works. It being nearly 2 AM, I totally don't want to bother right now.

The only problem I have is viewing the outer parts of the search box on a standard def tv

Yeah, when I boot up netflix, it just gives me the option of signing up for a free trial.
