Hopefully TNA has learned their lesson with putting their faith in Jeff Hardy (probibly now) so who would you choose from their active roster to become a main eventer(s)? I would obviously keep Sting, RVD and Anderson, and I would probibly mix back in some Matt Morgan and Pope (with them maybe Joe and Hernandez because of the feuds right now)

Gunner and Murphy. It'd fit perfectly with the whole TNA Title scene making no damned sense at all.

I don't watch TNA all that much but I keep up with its dealings so here is what I would do...

STING

He is the Icon, still has tons of drawing power. I would keep the title on Sting all Spring and Summer, have him wrestle once or twice a month, always on PPV and maybe in a tag match on Impact! to preserve him. I would make him famous again, get any media outlet, interview, press, charity, have him do tons of things in the public eye... Have him go to Japan and help clean shit up or something. Use Sting to get into the media as a positive influence for children and a legend revived. Also we would take Impact! on the road once a month along with PPV's. So we would use Sting to sell out 10,000 seat arenas and then the next night do Impact! about 2-3 hours away in a sister city in a smaller arena, again promoting Sting.

MR. ANDERSON
He is my pick to chase the title. At first he stays in this tweener relm, and goes after all the fans who are tired of Sting, but of course he's always an asshole. At least until the point when he goes to far and is a full fledged heel. He will chase the title and always get just close enough, but somebody will get in his way. Eventually he will face Sting at Bound For Glory in the most built up match in TNA history.

AJ STYLES
Pretty simple, he is TNA wrestling and should be the war horse for the company, always. He should always get more ring time than anyone else because he is the best wrestler in the company, it simple see. He will not be the main focus but he will be the right hand man for Sting, seemingly. Since Sting is 52 AJ will be his little buddy, his Luger of sorts. So along the road to BFG Anderson gets to learn some new tricks from being in the ring with AJ more than the Stinger. Of course after Anderson takes the title from Sting, the next feud is with AJ.

MATT MORGAN
I would kinda copy cat book Matt Morgan, look at the best booking for big men and just copy it. He's gonna have a big face vs face match at a PPV with RVD, RVD will go over clean in a rather humiliating way. Next time we see Morgan, he has changed. I'd book him like heel Batista, going the easy way all the time instead of doing things the right way. I'd book him in a killer feud with RVD in which eventually Morgan will be the victor.

ROB VAN DAM
TNA is stupid for pulling in the reigns on RVD, he has a ton of fans. Give them what they want, plenty of cool matches with X-Division guys and a killer feud with Matt Morgan. RVD should be protected as in he should win a lot more than he loses, he's the kind of wrestler who is badly affected by losses I feel.

KURT ANGLE
He has a few months left on the paper before we don't know his future, so use him to make a new Kurt Angle.... who do we have? The only choice is Samoa Joe. He is the only one that can carry the ball Angle possesses. He's been so hurt by booking that this feud would have to be brilliantly booked. Angle/face Joe/heel. We want ROH Joe here, destruction and suplexes.

JOE
Read above, if Angle is gone then Joe is the only one to take that spot. So prepare for it.

ORLANDO JORDAN
I really think they are missing the ball with this guy. He has the potential to be a gorgeous George/Goldust type that everybody hates so much they just want him smashed, especially in the south. Yet the push it so far people just change their TV's. Nah, Jordan re-debuts as a fabulous heel in robes and glitter, has a gorgeous valet like Lacey Von Erich and is put in longer old school style wrestling matches where HEAT is the value. Make him the HEAT magnet of TNA and you will always have a draw. He has a great look, ability, and personality, USE IT! Also, forget about the gay shit, we know but we don't care and it doesn't sell to promote someones sexuality. I think one of the feuds I would book him in would be a battle of mind games against Scott Steiner. The feud would start off with two heels and eventually turn Steiner into a babyface embracing his crazyness and then the fans would respond to him like other crazy legends (Sheik anybody?) You never know what Steiner is gonna say or do, and you never know what Orlando Jordan is gonna do to Scott Steiner to get in his head.

Mr Anderson or RVD for the short term since both are already competing for the #1 contendership if TNA ever figures out when to have a winner for it.

Kurt Angle in the near future once his feud with Jarrett is over and gives him at least one last big feud in TNA should he decide not to resign. If he decides to stay, then let him have a feud with Sting for the title and when Sting wants to retire, Angle now becomes the one to help and give a few rubs to other wrestlers.

Angle could easily help out AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Morgan, the Pope, or even Hernandez as a way to fill up the main event division for more potential good feuds.

Ken Anderson
It's simple -- at Lockdown Anderson becomes the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. He's the rising star that the WWE dropped the ball with, and now proudly wears TNA colours. He's got ring skills, a strong character and a connection to the crowd. He also moves merchandise for them. Anderson is a pretty solid pick to be a top guy in TNA.

Kurt Angle
He's still The Greatest Wrestler in the World, and he would still hate Anderson's guts. Seeing these two feud over the World Title would be pretty immense. Just a one month thing while newer main eventers are generated, and to give more of a rub to Anderson as a credible World Champion.

AJ Styles
TNA is the house that AJ built, and he should really be allowed to compete at that top level. When you think of TNA, you think of two things: 1) Bullshit, and 2) AJ always being the exception. In some ways, Anderson and Styles could very easily be the Austin/Rock of TNA -- in that they are the top faces that represent two different ideals, but could both do wonders for the company.

Samoa Joe
TNA have ruined the mystique of Joe recently, but as a former World Heavyweight Champion, he wouldn't be too hard to recreate as a main event force. Joe is one of those positive associations with TNA that has dropped off the radar a bit, but could earn them some good will if he got another push. Just make him a bad-ass motherfucker who doesn't care who he needs to choke-out.

Christopher Daniels
In some ways, him leaving the company was a symbol of its corruption. Making peace with Daniels is making peace with that ambitious past TNA had. Yeah, he's almost 40 years old, but the things he can do in the ring are still amazing. Daniels' late rise to World Title glory could make an amazing story.

Matt Morgan
I think there are dollar signs in Morgan. He's got size, athleticism, mic skills and he's starting to gain tenure in TNA. All he really needs is a feud with a guy he meshes well with. I'd like to see an angle play out between him and Kurt Angle, truthfully.

Matt Hardy
Yeah, this will get some backlash. The fact is, Hardy is still capable of having great matches. His relationship with Ric Flair gives him the chance to really break out as a guy you want to see get punched in the jaw, and while I would never make him the focus of programming -- being a Hardy still means something.

I haven't seen any of this Bully Ray business, but I can assure you that it is not very good.

It's far better than anything Bubba Ray has done in a long, long time. The guy is pretty gold on the mic, and great at getting people to want to see him get his teeth smashed down his throat. Also, he's great at really pumping more into his stories than should really be there. He mentioned breaking Beaulah's neck in what was originally just a throwaway match between him and Tommy Dreamer to kick-off Victory Road, and he has managed to make joining Immortal sound like a career-long dream for him.

Chris Jericho, himself, endorses Bully Ray's recent work, calling him the best heel in TNA, and a guy who just "gets it." The things working against Ray are of course his age, his limited ability in the ring (and it's not that bad, just not great and untested in the main event as far as singles competition goes), and that he is apparently a massive douche.

Mr. Nerfect
03-18-2011, 09:16 PM
Bully Ray should be mid-card at highest, though. I don't mind him flirting with the main event scene in multi-man matches (as he has done in the past with TNA, anyway), but I'd personally rather see him terrorise X-Division guys or something, and get people to care about them.
