I’d love to see the fight. It seems likely, considering GSP wants nothing to do with Silva. This is the most interesting matchup to be made, and I’d like to see it now rather than later while Silva is still in his prime.

If Jones defends his belt against Evans and wins, Silva could defend his against Okami in Rio. If both win, why not have that fight? A lot of people are more interested in that fight now instead of Silva vs. GSP. Dana should make this happen. If Silva won, there’d be no doubt he’d go down as the greatest, and before you say he won’t go to 205 anymore, there was article I read recently that said he wouldn’t rule out moving back up.

Silva Vs GSP is much more likley, since it will make a shit load more money. Plus it's a more winable fight for Silva. I don't see Silva being able to beat Jones.

If it stays standing, Silva wins more times than not. It's a matchup that we must see. I'd pay $100 to see that fight. Win or lose, Silva retires.

Problem is that if Jones gets in trouble he can pretty make take it to the ground anytime he wants, and I don't see Silva eating too many elbows from Jones before it would be all over.

Hell after what happened at 128, it wouldn't be crazy to assume Jones could handle himself on his feet, given his explosiveness and reach.
