As Charlie Sheen readies for his touring stage show, RadarOnline is reporting that CBS wants him back.

CBS wants the star back at work on Two and a Half Men, Radar says, quoting "a well-placed insider" who says CBS President and CEO Les Moonves has been speaking with top execs at Warner Bros. Television, the company that produces Men and also fired Sheen.

Moonves has also spoken directly to Men co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre, with whom Sheen has been waging war.

Meanwhile, Lifeline Live has confirmed that Sheen sat down down late last week with Fox execs including Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment; David Hill, president of Fox Sports; and Peter Rice, chairman of entertainment for Fox Networks Group. Fox reached out to Sheen to meet with the star and brainstorm about possible projects, including a late night show.

The late night show makes sense, but just end 2.5 men with a few more episodes to round off the characters please.

Fucking pathetic. Revolting even, basically just rewarding him for his drug habit, absolutely enabling his self destruction and encouraging his mistreatment on women among other things.

Makes me sick

This isnt really surprising. That show is money for CBS, and more money with Sheen back. I never thought the separation would last honestly.

I swear, Charlie Sheen can't destroy his career no matter how hard he tries. He's fucking invincible.

I hope you apply that standard evenly to Hollywood, because Sheen's not the only example and probably not the worst. Just the one all over the media right now.

This makes CBS look pretty wishy-washy, and now the rest of their employees can get away with anything. #Winning

This feels like the mother of all publicity stunts to get the show mega-ratings.

Still not gonna bother watching, not that uk tv ratings matter as much!

I hate when things are a huge deal. Hate everyone who has an opinion about Charlie Sheen.

Still would love to see the rumor I heard a while back come true and 2.5 Men continues with Rob Lowe in Sheen's role. Would be "interesting" to see how that would get played off.

Rob Lowe is contractually obligated to Parks & Rec.

I would rather watch this video for 20 mins every week over new episodes of Two and a Half Men.

Man needs to get off the drugs, but I will forever admire the way he pretty much pantsed the media.

Here's a couple more things to watch instead of new 2.5 Men:

Ashton Kutcher (http://www.tmz.com/person/ashton-kutcher/) has officially signed on to "Two and a Half Men (http://www.tmz.com/category/two-and-a-half-men/)" ... and TMZ has learned he'll be making more than half of Charlie Sheen (http://www.tmz.com/person/charlie-sheen/)'s base salary ... but less than $900,000 an episode.

I give the show..2 months tops.

Lol at "He will be making more than half of what Charlie Sheen made" part. What's the need to say it like that?

So to summarise: shit actor replaces shit actor to star in shit show watched by shit people.

Also how could having anyone else work? The whole the point of the show is that it's just a toned down broadcast of Charlie Sheen's life.
