So, is anyone enjoying this little bit of "Attitude" we've been getting lately and this WM buildup as much as I am? I haven't been this excited for a Mania since well, hell, I dunno when. It's been quite a while.

Miz has played his role perfectly and done a hell of a job at it. I'm actually really looking forward to a Cena match for once. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Rock will probably be involved in some way too. And I've always been a HUGE Rock mark. With the exception of a couple rough spots, the promos by Rock, Miz and Cena have all been really good for the most part. The writing has also been solid for this feud too IMO.

The King vs Cole feud has been amazing. Great writing and performing by everyone involved here. Not to mention a surprise (albeit, brief, so far) return by JR. Adding Austin as the guest ref here is just the icing on the cake for this match/feud.

Granted we've seen HHH vs Taker before at Mania 17 and yes, this match probably won't be as good as that one, but I'm still expecting a great match. Granted the buildup hasn't been great, but these guys won't just phone it in and both can still go and put on a helluva match when rested and given the big match opportunity like this one promises to be IMO.

Ziggler/Lay-Cool vs Morrison/Trish and Snooki should be pretty entertaining all things considered. Supposedly they've filmed a bar room brawl with Snooki putting Lay-Cool through a table for Monday's RAW too. Pretty cool Attitude era type stuff going on here, which is always fun, even if it does involve a 50 cent slut like Snooki. I'm excited to see Trish back to show the new divas how to work and she's still smokin'! Plus, I'm sure Ziggler and Morrison will have some good spots.

The rest of the card looks solid to say the least. I'm not as excited or impressed with the writing/buildup for Edge/Del Rio, Orton vs Punk or Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan fueds, but I'm expecting them all to put on really solid matches.

Add in the recent showing(s) of blood (granted they were legit injuries), some serious and pretty intense/violent segments, cursing/intense/adult themed promos by Rock and Cena, and I'm loving the recent programming.

So, is anyone else as excited as me about the recent "Attitude" and WM buildup?

I don't even consider it "Attitude," so much as just good and exciting storytelling. But yes, I've been enjoying the WWE recently.

What matters is if they can maintain this 'build' with the PPV's and shows following Wrestlemania. They've done a great job over the last year, so I hope they can keep this writing style and momentum going.

Its been very good at the moment and hopefully they can continue on with the good storylines, but Im getting a bit sick of people saying that its attitude era again because it flat out isn't

Were not saying its 'the attitude era again!!111' , were saying parts of it remind us of how it used to be. That's to do with the intensity of the build ups/way they're being done.

I am hoping that this is a permanent change with this slight "attitude" going on lately... I really hope it's solely for build up for WM27...

It's easy for people to make the comparison because there have been things like cursing and blood that have been absent from WWE television for quite some time now.

I liked last year's build up better than this year but this year has a lot more uncertainty with the matches for predicting winners. Although last year's Mania was a bit flat considering the hype more due to match placement than horrible matches.

This is the most into the product overall that I've been in years.
