View Full Version : Is Bret Hart Butt Hurt?

– Bret Hart has provided his thoughts on WrestleMania XXVII on his website. Here is some of what he wrote: “As for the actual line-up, it’s been a slow build for much of the card, but for the past few weeks the promos and backstage situations seemed to be rather plain and flat, totally predictable. The Undertaker and Triple H segment with Shawn Michaels played out exactly like I expected, the usual smoke blowing up the rectum stuff, more grunts and then a staring contest, thank God Shawn was there just to add something, anything to it. I suppose there isn’t much else these two legends can do as far as buildup goes but it came across to me as having little imagination, the match itself should be one of the better match ups because Taker brings it all the way for Wrestlemania and Triple H can turn it up when he wants to. Triple H has had some hard fought battles over the years, but I don’t know if he’s ever had his chance to literally blow them away at Wrestlemania but this might be his best chance. Taker, in my opinion, is truly one of the all-time best and time and time again, he has delivered the best match on the show so I expect a good solid match, old school but intense. It could steal the show.” You can read the entire blog at http://www.brethart.com/

Is Bret Hart butt hurt about not being apart of this years wrestlemania? I love The Hitman. But why does he have to be so negative about it. It's not like his match last year wasn't a huge ass letdown.

Go to brethart.com and read the whole blog. He said he was looking forward to WrestleMania 27 and everything.

And what he says about the WM27 build-up being subpar, he's right. If you compare this year's "Road to WrestleMania" to others, you'll see. It's been only the last few weeks that it has gained steam, mainly because of The Rock and HBK being inserted somehow into the HHH/Taker match.

I wouldn't necessarily say he's bitter. He just sounds like your typical IWC ranter.

Bret Hart is constantly is a state of bitterness, did you not hear how long he dragged out the "hey I got screwed by Micheals" thing for?

Is Bret still under contract with the WWE? Kinda missed what happened there.

I love Ryan Clark's "Bret Hart is not looking forward to Wrestlemania" and the article is about Bret thinking the Taker HHH match could steal the show. Clark is such a TNA slappy.

Yeah that article had nothing to do with Bret not looking forward to Mania. He just said the buildup has been sub-par compared to previous years, which is true except for Cole vs. Lawler.

Bret just has an opinion on the merits of the build...he's well within his rights to have that. Just because he's throwing a negative tint on things doesn't mean he's bitter.

I mean shit, if Hart came out and said "OMG, this Taker/HHH build is rocking my cock," I'm sure there would be someone posting about how Hart's become a parrot for the WWE after all these years.

I don't think he's butt hurt about wrestlemania but there's definitely a little bit of bitterness. Not about the company, anything like that but because he really was snuffed out pretty bad from everything that happened with him. I asked him a question about what he thought of mock screwjobs and he went on a rant for like seven minutes on that radio show he did, about Bischoff and WCW and all that. Cut me off like two times just going on and on and on. (I was nervous as fuck)

He probably did drop a lot of weight, probably does consider Michaels enough of a friend now for them to have respect for each other and all, but yeah, there's still bitterness. Can't really blame him, when you consider what happened to his career, the stroke, the deaths, everything really knocked him on his ass. You don't get up from a beating like that and completely move on. Ever.

Bret vs. Vince was the worst mania match in history. I cannot think of one worse.

I find it funny how over the last 13 years when people say Bret Hart needs to get over the Montreal Screwjob, when it was WWE that couldn't get over it. It seemed like they'd bring it up or have another screwjob angle every year.

I agree the Undertaker and HHH build up for this year has been total crap..

It doesn't beat this by a long shot.

You were commenting on something the IWC has been moaning about for years. The Hart-WWE feud ended a few years ago move on and find something better to bitch about like his potshots at Hogan and Flair. Poor innocent things.

And as far as this years WM? He's pretty much spot on. The whole product has become stagnant and this years WM is a perfect example of that. A generation without the territories of old is starting to take its toll on the product.

STFU. Bret needs to get over it. He's bitter, CM Punk outpopped DX, and Cena=Hitler.
