View Full Version : Who would you have rather seen taken over WWE as the Head Chairman?

I've always thought that Vince took over for his father and that he should have handed it to his son.

Instead, we have Triple H and Stephanie running the show. While Triple H is great backstage, I wonder if he will be too inclined to insert himself in the good angles/storylines and damage the authenticity of the company.

In the Poll, I differentiated from Triple H and Stephanie because it's not likely that both will be calling the shots until their kids get older, so I want to know who you would like to see in the top spot.

Granted, once their children get older, Stephanie will have more time to run the corporate/creative aspects, but until then, are you worried?

Shane was always a crowd favorite and put his body on the line to entertain them, even when he really didn't have to.

He's such a great guy. I guess it's similar to Dale Jr leaving his fathers racing company.

So many like myself feel that they are both destined to run their fathers company, but took a different path, due to corporate/family politics.

...So...why is Vince a choice? He DOES run WWE.

By putting Vince in the Poll, it means that you wish for him to remain as Chairmen, and to not step down within the next 3 to 5 years to relinquish power to one of his children.

I see Nicky Fives either has a thing for MILFs, or just wants Hunter's sloppy seconds for the sake of saying "Hey Internet, I had Hunter's sloppy seconds!"

Went with Triple H. Has a good mind for the business, knows what type of talent to look for and just understands a broader aspect of the business as a whole seeing as he's both one of the greatest ever and been in the backstage, political side since marrying into the family.

Shane & Triple H as joint chairmen. Shane seems to have the business acumen and expansion mindset, while Triple H would handle the day to day running of the core operation - wrestling (or the sport in sport entertainment)

A student of the game, then the Game and then the King of Kings. Triple H is a good fit to run the WWE once Vince retires.

I was a little bit worried when Shane left, but as long as Triple H is mostly in charge then I'm ok with it.

The WWE is going to be all about the Game and everybody is going to have to play it!

for one, when have you been backstage to know how good or bad H is? this is not fact its speculation.

and second, vince has never put himself in any storyline that damaged the company. in fact he put himself into two that helped skyrocket the company.
