Ok guys, the NFC East this year is looking like one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL. I mean to start out every team besides the Cowboys made a big time change.

First of course the Redskins getting their new coach, Clinton Portis, and Mark Brunell.

Then the Philadelphia Eagles getting Terrell Owens, Jevon Kearse, and Dhani Jones. And letting go of their veteran cornerbacks Troy Vincent, and Bobby Taylor.

Then the New York Giants who got Eli Manning in the NFL draft, and soon will let go of vet. Kerry Collins.

And the ****ing Cowboys who I could care less about (I ****ing hate the COWGIRLS!)

Even though I am a die hard Eagles fan, and Philadelphia native.. The Redskins in the off season made by far the biggest changes. Their biggest move was getting rid of Champ Bailey, and getting Clinton Portis which was a big move. The Red Skins really needed a running back after letting go of Stephen Davis. And also getting Mark Brunell. EVERY year the Red Skins make changes but don't do anything. They have an average D with Arington, and their offense is going to be much better, with Clinton Portis. But I don't think Mark Brunell is their answer at QB. He never really did anything huge down in Jacksonville, and won't do anything the DC. I think the Red Skins should stick with Patrick Ramsey. He is one tough kid, and just had a bad Offensive line last year and no running game so he and Coles had to carry the team. I say the Red Skins come in 2nd place at the end of the year getting a better record than the Cowboys.

Now my precious E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! The Eagles made by far the biggest trade they have made in YEARS with getting Terrel Owens. I think he is completes the Eagles offense they finally need. The Eagles running game last year was unstoppable with the three headed monster(Staley, Westbrooke, and Buckhalter) just killing guys. But loosing Staley really hurts the bird in their running game. He was a veteran of the team, and really carried that team in the playoffs when Westbrooke went down with his injury. Now he is in Pittsburgh. But now with Westbrooke going to 100% this year, he will be a froce in this offense. He is the biggest play maker on the team and most of the offense will go through him. Donovan will finally have atleast one reciever! Last year my boy Freddy Mitchell stepped up at the end of the year and became in my opinion the best receiever on the team. With James Thrash gone to Washington the three recievers will be Owens, Pinkston, and Mitchell. Finally Donovan has someone to throw too. The offensive line will be decent. They got rid of John Welbourn, and all of his problems. And they have a good back up to him named Artis Hicks. And now with our first round draft pick Anderson will push for Hicks spot. Now on to the D. The Eagles D this year will struggle a lot I think. With the loss of Vincent, and Taylor will be a big gap to fill. Two, second year players will fill their spots. They are decent and did a good job filling in for Vincent, and Taylor when they were injured. The Eagles linebackers are very small, and aren't the best run stoppers. Dhani Jones is a quick linebacker but the Eagles need a forcefull LB. The D line if they stay healthy should be the strong part of the D.

Now the Giants. The Giants got rid of Fassel, and brought in the old Jaguars coach. THAT DOESN'T MEAN JACK SHIT! And now everyone is buzzing about Eli Manning being the man next year. Just wait everyone, when was the last time you saw a rookie QB come out of college and dominate? Eli can not change an organization just because of his last name.

And I don't feel like talking about th Cowboys... They Suck

Discuss.

I don't know about the NFC east. Redskins look like the best on paper. Dallas won last year with pretty much the same team. Philli's acquistions aren't going to make up for their losses. And I'm not sold on the Giants, especially with Manning and the Bachelor at QB

I'll say that it'll be Washington, Phili, Dallas and New York in that order and Phili takes a wild card spot

Not sure I should even bother considering that your only assessment for the Cowboys was "they suck," but here goes:

The Cowboys added Drew Henson at QB, but he's a project. Carter figures to start, and rumors are that when the Jets release Vinny Testaverde, the Tuna will reclaim former QB to play back-up.

The RB situation is still up in the air. Hambrick stunk up the joint and I don't like the Julius Jones pick at all. But the wisdom (or lack thereof) of that pick remains to be seen.

They added Keyshawn Johnson as their big target possesion receiver. As a complement to Bryant and Glenn, Keyshawn should be far more productive than he was last season for the Bucs.

The O-Line struggled last year, but they added two solid draft picks and are close to coming to terms with Larry Allen.

They added Marcellus Wiley to the number one defense of last season. That along with the continued improvement of Roy Williams, Terrence Newman, and Willie Blade means that the Cowboys D is once again going to be the real strength of the team.

The big news is the fact that this season's schedule looks a lot easier. Outside of their division games, the Cowboys only face three teams that made the playoffs last season. While that's no guarantee of success, the prospects of scoring wins against Detroit, Chicago, and Pittsburgh seems likely.

My guess would be that the Cowboys win 11 games and challenge for the division title. This is a team built to win in typical Bill Parcells style. The Giants will struggle, Washington will play much better but are still lacking on defense, and Philly will be one of the best teams in the NFC. But the Cowboys will make the playoffs again and the diision will be a dogfight.

AFC South is a good one. Jacksonville will be a threat and maybe Houston.

AFC East... I see it being about as good as it was last year.

I see it being better. Buffalo has a full season of McGahee and Henry and a better second threat at WR. New England is about as good as last year. Miami is better with Boston. The Jets are better with a full year of Pennington.
