It was kinda weird. The funniest parts were where he kinda went "off the cuff." The Blake Griffin skit was terrible, seemed like someone wrote and forced him to do that. I am glad the show is on TV though.

It definitely had a weird feeling but thats kinda normal for a new show like this, and he did an awesome job of like embracing the weirdness i guess. Not to mention he can make any non funny joke funny

Comedy Central already have a Sports news parody show on Comedy Central made by the Onion. They are trying to compete with themselves?

Earlier this week, costume designers from Any Given Sunday teamed up with the homeless man responsible for XFL apparel to create a uniform that Arizona State University’s football team could be proud of. They failed miserably, but in the process created a situation that will unintentionally force drunken college students (and not just regular drunk, we’re talking ASU drunk) to wear all black in 120 degree weather on <del>binge drinking Saturdays</del> gamedays.

Hilarious. Is it being "critically acclaimed" or what
Probably not

Crowd is absolutely terrible
After every little joke it seems like the same 5 guys (def huge bros) will start clapping and going "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" insanely loud and then the rest of the crowd has to erupt into a round of applause. Makes all the crowd laughter seem forced like the crowd of "The Soup" or something.

I am such a huge fan of Norm, and I'm so glad to have him back on TV. I'm not a huge sports guy, but I could watch Norm eat a sandwich for an hour and I'd tune in next week to see him talk about it.

Comedy Central Cans MacDonald’s, Onion’s Sports Shows
Two sports-themed shows on Comedy Central have been sidelined for good.
According to TheWrap.com, the cable network Monday canceled both sports-reporting spoofs, “Sports Show with Norm MacDonald” and “Onion Sports Dome.”
“Sports Show” debuted in April and finished its first season last week, and “Onion Sports Dome” launched in January and wrapped up in mid-March.
Former “Saturday Night Live” star MacDonald told EW.com that he was not officially notified about the cancellation. He said, in what may or may not be construed as in a joking manner, that he was thinking about launching an Internet campaign to save the show, “almost like they do with shows about witches and vampires and aliens from outer space.”
MacDonald’s show followed the network’s hit “Tosh.0″ in the Tuesday night lineup.
