KK Downing Retires from Priest before the Final World Tour!?!?

Tragedy!!!

It is with regret that Judas Priest announce that K.K. DOWNING has formally retired from the band and will therefore not be joining them on their forthcoming EPITAPH Tour.

The band respect his decision and naturally all wish him well.

After 40 years, and on the verge of starting their final World Tour, founding member KK Downing (one half of the legendary twin-axe attack) has suddenly dropped out. :'(

The rumour mill is scrambling to speculate on "why?". Total bummer, cuz KK was always very enthusiastic and easy going about the band.
