I'm wondering how the new system will compare with the current gen, graphics wise. It's hard to gauge, as some of the stuff they showed looked comparable, while some of the other stuff seemed lower quality.

Not that it'll be that big of a deal, but I'm just wondering how the price will work. If it's expensive, not quite the quality of PS3 and 360, and is really just relying on the gimmick of the controller, a high price could hurt it.

Well when they say they're going to reveal Project Cafe, I expect a total reveal. If they'd have said it was gonna be a reveal of just a part of it or just the control, I'd have tempered my expectations accordingly.

Project Cafe was mostly being hyped for how the controller was going to look after all the crazy rumors.

Some rumor from yesterday puts the internal stuff for the system itself at 3 cores each around 3.3 GHz and at least the 8000 series from ATI although I forgot exactly what the name of the card was.

The bigger news is Luigi's Mansion is going to use the 3D stuff that was tested during the Gamecube and the fact of Smash Bros now has a handheld version when Nintendo likes to keep certain series/games exclusive to either their console or handheld. Not surprised at Tecmo bringing in Ninja Gaiden for the Wii U because their deal with Metroid Other M also included future non-Nintendo projects.

Yeah but with new locations and the return (and I think improvement) of the camera. You don't need to hunt down film anymore, for example.
You can't make DIY weapons like Chuck could, though.

* The "live" demo of Modern Warfare 3 done during the Microsoft press conference might not have been an actual playing of the game but potentially a recording after a few people noticed the inputs by the presenter and his screen didn't completely match what was happening on the big screen. The idea of it being some sort of lag with the connections was rejected based on how the presenter used the controller with the biggest explanation being the PC version was demoed after the "reconnect" part was shown to make the crowd think it was the 360 version.

* The bad reactions to the recent new Fable game demoed at E3 has the series creator, Peter Molyneux, claiming the whole demo was a mistake to have shown because it made the game seem like its on rails for Kinect.
