Flair Gets Hot Over Terminology
Posted by: Honky Tonk Man on 04/27/2004

Seems the old Nature Boy got hot around the collar when a reporter was using
"inside" terminology while interviewing the washed up old shit bag.

Flair you have no one to blame but yourself for people being smart to the
business. You have had the same match that consisted of the front face bump,
flip up over the top turn buckle, run down the apron, climb up to the top
rope and get slammed while bracing your fall with your right arm for the
last 30 years.

If that wasn't enough, you put your skinny, bag of bones son on TV. He must
have weighed 160 lbs. soaking wet and could not wrestle his way out of a
paper bag.

And you call your book writer an idiot! Give me a break Flair. The biggest
idiot is you. The people who read these dip shit books want to read a story
as if it was happening on the inside, not some made up bullshit like Chester
the Molester Jacko Jerry put out.

By the way Flair, did you help with Arn's drug and alcohol rehab bill? If he
had not had his head so far up your ass for the last 25 years as he followed
you to every cowboy club on earth for your "whooo" party tonight Arn
bullshit, he might not have needed rehab!

*sniffs the air*

I smell bitterness from a guy who was a shitty worker and a pain in the ass to work with who is stuck working second rate indy shows wrestling the likes of Jimmy Snuka Jr.

But hey they all can't be as good as Flair.

Ah, nothing like curmudgeonly old bastards trying to out-grumpy each other.

But on the other hand, I can kind of see some semblance of sanity in HTM's rant. He does raise a pretty good point in Flair's matches being repetitive (although he really doesn't have any room to talk; and would probably find better examples with the likes of Hogan and half of the old school wrestlers). Still, Flair > HTM, even if he is a grumpy bastard who hates us all.

It's funny that it's okay for you guys to bitch and moan about wrestlers but when someone voices out against you guys, you are all about jumping them for being "grumpy."

Pot meet kettle, kettle meet pot.

And the fact that you seem to post just to be contrary has nothing to do with people's reactions.

And it's of course hypocritical for people to disagree with Ric Flair, because these are the sorts of things people have sucked off Rock and Foley for over the years. :y:

Honkey Tonk Man has a series of strong points. HIs riff on Flair's doing the same moves over and over is accurate. I mean, Ric is incredible, but it it dumb to expect fans to be totally fooled by Kayfabe when one of the fakest bumps in the business is part of your repertoire.

David Flair had no business being in the ring. His biggest push came while Ric had the book; I'm sure that's not a coincidence.

Jerry Lawler's book was crap. Funny that HTM calls Lawler out, though, considering they're cousins.

And I have no clue about the Arn stuff.

Basically, HTM said some honest things, but its just hard to take them as such since he was a horrible worker and a royal pain in the ass. His opinio lacks credibility in the eyes of most fans.

He's brutally honest, which is why he's probably unemployed.

Won't they ever learn from Macho Man trying to pick a feud with Hulk Hogan? Old guys trying to shoot-feud with each other DOESN'T WORK!

He's got some points, but Flair at least has earned the right to be a cocky grumpy bastard.

I usually will listen to anything that anyone has to say but I really don't give a toss about what Wayne Farris (you ain't the Honky Tonk Man now so pack it in) has to say.

When I was your age, we didn't get into wrestling by winning a contest...We had to do it the hard way...By rimming the boss...

Ric Flair is a God. Arn Anderson is a God.

HTM, while being possibly the greatest IC champ ever, is a moron.

End of story.

Some sort of Federation should come along that only has shoot fights. Actual shoot fights. Macho would sign up waiting for Hogan and if they offered Hulk enough money there would actually be a shoot fight. Maybe when Flair is done with WWE he would do it too. Who knows, but I like a Shoot Fight Federation.

1 - Flair isnt the only one doing the same thing for all his career: check out Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Hogan, Sting, Benoit...etc..its called style. People stick to it

2 - Wayne Farris is a washed up jealous old bastard who has too much to say for himself. Talk about believing your own hype. He was a boring wrestler with a shitty gimmick who got way too much of a push. Now he thinks hes some big wheel in the wrestling business with his shitty website and lame phone in.

3 - Ric Flair has the top selling WWE DVD of all time, is on RAW every week with Evolution and has a biography coming out. Honky Tonk Man is a sad Elvis rip off who oils his hair in between making bitchy posts on his webpage. How does that compare?

4 - The stuff about Anderson was just low

5 - people who use cliches cannot think for themselves and lack imagination. I counted at least five.

This whole thing stinks of jealousy.
