Arguably the greatest wrestler of all time, The Macho Man Randy Savage. I think the reason he was soo great was that even in 2000, you could put him into a ring with a bag of sand (Kevin Nash) he could lose and put on an amazing match. I'm looking for the video right now but one of my favorite Macho Man moments is one of his final ones. It was on a nitro in late 2000/ early 01, they were having a New Blood vs Millionares Club Rumble and they had the "limo waiting in the parking lot" for the entire show. At the end of the night they had the long walk to the ring and just when the Millionares looked beat "What up Mach" hits and the crowd explodes louder than it has in a LONG time. Macho comes out just as jacked as he ever was, clears the ring, jumps over the top rope and chases them out the ring. Hopefully I can find it.

What s sad is he never got than final tribute run in WWE that he damn well deserved. You see Hogan, Flair, Ricky Steamboat and most recently, Bret Hart getting their tribute run and one more time in the spotlight. It's sad that Savage never had that honor.

I don't know if Savage could even go at this point, but just to see him getting his due and being recognized as undoubtedly one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time would have more than enough.

Just heard this on a radio show:

They've been sarcastically critical about the whole "rapture" thing, talking about how at 6 o'clock on Saturday there were a bunch of disappointed looters hanging around outside of Best Buy, etc. Then, this subject came up, and they came to the conclusion that the reason why there was no rapture was more or less because of the above pic Lock Jaw posted a couple days ago:

"There was no rapture because he died. Macho Man took it all. He died for our sins so we won't have 5 months of hell. ...Well, he *was* the greatest Intercontenental Champion of all time!"

Incredibly sad that it might take something like this for it to happen but I really hope he gets his, rightfully earned, spot in the Hall of Fame. One of the best workers in the 80s who gave the Warrior his best match and a number of great matches with Flair and Steamboat.
