View Full Version : Kharma out for the rest of the year?

Midway through last night's Eight-Diva Tag Team Match on Raw, Kharma's entrance music echoed, freezing her fellow Divas. As she slid into the ring, her eight fellow Divas lined up on the opposite side of the canvas. Kharma unexpectedly dropped to her knees and began crying.

F4WOnline.com reports that the angle was scripted to write her off television for the time being. She is expected to be sidelined for over nine months.

Fuck. Hope it's typical internet bullshit (which, given no actual injury was listed, I think it is).

Horrible luck if she did get injured, though. :(

Has she even been wrestling house shows?

Maybe she's pregnant.

Narcissus

Well, I suppose that could explain the nine months.

Also, wouldn't even know if she was "showing."

And the comments say that she's either preggie or injured. I can't say anything about this. I'm just fucking surprised.

9 months? It'll be a looooooooooong way to go for me to give a shit about divas again.

It must be a little Kongaroo for her. Nine months seems a weird stretch of time without a mention of why.

Very bad timing and all of those Implant busters couldn't have been good for the baby. She drops the person right on her mat and her stomache connects with the other divas back.

Yeah, just heard this on PWInsider (on audio).

Tough break professionally. If she's indeed preggers, though, congrats to her.

Yeah what can you do if she's pregnant. We gotta get a whose the daddy angle, hopefully with Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, and a returning Val Venis leading the way.

And then the baby will be Asian and Yoshi Tatsu will get the biggest push of his career.

If this is true, this really sucks. WWE will probably release her before she can come back because that's what they do.

I hope WWE doesn't fire her for that, like they did Dawn Marie.

Unless the WWE didn't know she was pregnant (or the case of herself not knowing until recently), it seems a bit odd to now take her off of the main roster when she recently debuted a few weeks ago. Could also have been a potential problem had she taken any real bumps to the stomach these last few weeks.

Nevermind, just read another report that said it is due to a pregnancy and not some pre-existing injury she might of had before.

Stuoid move by Kong (presuming it was planned).

I wonder if they'll do anything more with her in a non physical role as it's gonna come off real odd the way they handled it on Raw. Kong destroys random Divas for a few weeks > comes out on Raw, has a breakdown and is never seen again.

05-25-2011, 06:33 AM
Wow, I'm really shocked by this. Congratulations to Kharma if she is pregnant. They could totally work that into a later angle. Kharma is pregnant and is upset that she can't kill these skinny bitches dead.

So has it been confirmed that she is indeed pregnant?

Juan
05-25-2011, 10:52 PM
Yes

Juan
05-25-2011, 10:54 PM
Also, according to WWE.com, she's scheduled to speak this Monday on Raw

"Live on the next Raw, the WWE Universe will hear from the baleful behemoth, Kharma, about her unexpected emotional breakdown last Monday. What will the devastator of Divas say about her tearful episode?"

LK
05-25-2011, 11:01 PM
So I think it's safe to say that we are never going to see Kharma in the WWE ever again after next week. It's a shame in a way cause there was a real chance to boost the Divas division. On the other hand, good news for Kia Stevens. Hope she is given some kind of decent send off on Raw.

VSG

Why is it "safe to say that we are never going to see Kharma in the WWE ever again after next week"??

Juan
05-25-2011, 11:22 PM
Everyone is assuming she's gonna get fired for being pregnant just because Dawn Marie was fired while pregnant like 5 years ago.

Juan
05-25-2011, 11:22 PM
Sound logic, I gotta say.

Anybody Thrilla
05-25-2011, 11:39 PM
Kharma's a bit more of a unique talent than Dawn Marie, I would say.

VSG

Can't argue against that logic, ABT.

LK

Why is it "safe to say that we are never going to see Kharma in the WWE ever again after next week"??
Firstly I would completely agree with ABT. She is most definetly a unique talent in womens wrestling and could have/would have been an asset to the WWE.

Why is safe to say we are never going to see her in the WWE again? Well let's just say hypothetically that she found out she was pregnant on Monday. So 9 months down the line we are in February. Then there's the actual thing that occurs of becoming a Mum. Can you name me an active women currently in wrestling that has a newborn child?

So assuming that becoming a mother takes precedence over the silly world of professional wrestling, much less working for the most demanding wrestling promotion in the world, when she could go back into her career with social work whilst picking and choosing the odd wrestling appearance, it would seem sensible to me to suggest that she's not going to really want to be back in the WWE for at least another 6 months - a year by which point the casual fan will have long forgotten about her.

As a wrestling fan, I hope this isn't the case, but if she's back in the WWE full time within the next year, I will eat my hat.

Juan
05-26-2011, 12:04 AM
She could always come back on a light schedule and just work TV/Mondays.

Fignuts
05-26-2011, 02:55 AM
That kind of schedule is usually reserved for the most respected of veterans though.

SlickyTrickyDamon
05-26-2011, 03:02 AM
It's a completely different situation. Dawn Marie said that she was not going to wrestle anymore after she gave birth. Since that was what she was contracted to do she was released because she wasn't going to be living up to her end of the contract.Being pregnant did not get Dawn Marie fired persay. It was her insistence that after she gave birth that she ending her in-ring career which the WWE didn't accept.

I don't think Kong will stop her career to have this kid, so I don't think she will get future endeavored like Dawn Marie did.

Do you think that WWE might actually storyline the pregnancy? Granted, it would "humanize" the monster, but a woman beating the hell out of other women to be able to provide for her child could be a decent storyline if played up properly...

If they did this, they could play it off like the Divas are afraid of touching Kharma for fear of hurting the baby, so they just let her beat them um.

Of course, this would lead to the return of Gene Snitsky to take her out.
