Would anyone with access to a cell phone even want to see this? Most kids with cell phones want to look up www.4tube.com or www.cracked.com than see the same god damn thing evey week.

Even when I was 11 and watching wrestling (think back to Stone Cold vs Kane in a First Blood Match) I would not want to see this crap. Cena and Orton win every fucking time.

It would totally kill my most deluded illusions of a compelling corporate wrestling product if they did not keep CM Punk on. There are no other compelling heels to watch. I still think of Christian as a face. R-Truth is getting up there, but had to lose to Cena, and Miz is... let's just let him build A RY.

Either Punk goes out (non-kayfabe) because he hates the fucking product, or he goes out as champ. It would bring a great fucking dynamic to a terribly watered down product.

LOVED the Triple Threat match, and liked Kofi/Dolph. Otherwise, the matches weren't that great.

The Punk angle really has me interested, because even if he's leaving it opens up so many options if they gave him the title. WWE showing good faith and actually giving him the title on the way out would be interesting. This is assuming he hasn't resigned.

But he could "travel" with it, to ROH and Japan. He could just sit out for a while and come back as the "true world champion". It could be a way to get a new title belt.

Will he walk out with the title? I doubt it just because it would be risky on WWE's part. But if they did it, it would be something they've never done before and would be really interesting.

That said, if he DOES walk out with it, that means that SummerSlam would likely be the end of a world title tournament, and that means a month, at best, to play out that storyline. Which is kind of rushing it.

We don't know if he's re-signed with a plan to let him sit out for a while, so it's not out of the question that he could win it.

One thing I DID notice was that he said his "contract with World Wrestling Entertainment is up". Wouldn't be surprised if he put that in just as a red herring for smarks, or it could be that he's re-signed with WWE, Inc.

Some of the verbiage is actually the same. In that bout, Punk won the title and began a farewell speech, but then turned heel in the process and "took the belt hostage" for the summer, teasing he was going to deliver the belt to Vince McMahon. He would leave ROH several months later after losing the belt to James Gibson.

When Punk made his one return ROH appearance during a blizzard, by the way, he closed out that show by inviting the crowd out into the snow...to make snow angels.

The earlier "technical issue" WWE mentioned earlier today was a "voting backlog" from the Divas match that was counted towards the voting for Evan Bourne's opponent. So, fans that voted "B" for Kelly Kelly had their votes counted instead for Mason Ryan.

On WWE's Facebook, the company posted "Sham vote screws Sin Cara: WWE apologizes to the WWE Universe, Raw's "Power to the People" voters, and especially Sin Cara and Evan Bourne. The match vote was inaccurate due to a heavy backlog of votes from the Divas Title Match. More details on WWE.com throughout the day."
