On my network game, RBF got sacked, and then took charge of Villa, who were 9th at the time, and they only stayed up on goal difference. They had a better Goal difference then Boro, who was the tgeam he got sacked from.

If you read the thread as it went, rather than trying to play CM 02/03 (which incidentally is NOT called 02/03, its called CM4) you'd know the following

1- There are 2 lists of teams available

2- We haven't decided a start date, because everyone has different times when they are available

3- (And this has been mentioned time and time again) You need to download the 4.1.4 update from http://www.sigames.com and then the 4.1.5 update, you MUST get 4.1.4 before 4.1.5

What I hate about international teams, apart from having to wait for 2 hours per game is that when I submit my squad 2 days later 5 of the players I picked have been removed. What I hate about international teams, apart from having to wait for 2 hours per game is that when I submit my squad 2 days later 5 of the players I picked have been removed. Word,loads of players seem to pull out,even if the injury keeps them out for about a day.

That said,i got to the World Cup final with England,lost 2-1 to Italy there but wasn't expecting to get that far. :D

Ok, someone tell me the best tactics to use with a team like Everton, I have finally bought CM03/04 so I don't know any good ones and the tactics I used on CM4 don't seem to work.

One tactic that never fails for me

4-4-2, right central midfielder running back into the dmc role (say Gravesen) and the left central midfielder running forward into the amc role (McFadden would be perfect) and set him to make forward runs

I use 4-1-3-2 usually, the 1 being a defensive midfielder. also wingers, and have your mc running straight up to the area, he scores impossible amounts of goals. :love:

You don't have to do anything 'complicated' just double-click on the files once they're downloaded and they'll install themselves.

There are certain tactics that can make a team more or less unbeatable. Would be kind of pointless for someone to use them to get an advantage cause the rest of the teams might as well not bother.

I don't even know any tactics so I will probably be bottom of the league anyway so I don't care.I have been using a mixture Diablo and Uber2 which have kept me unbeaten at home after 24 games but I just got beat 5-0 away to Arsenal.

I've developed a tactic myself, but in all honesty, if someone uses Diablo (and its bloody obvious when they are) then it just defeats the purpose of the game

You don't essentially need to figure out tactics, I got to the Champions League with Torquay on just 4-4-2, but as I've found with this tactic I've developed with Arsenal, it can be helpful

I was wondering, do you get anything for finishing 7th in the Premiership ? I am 6th in the league with 2 games to go and Newcastle are 7th 1 point behind me with a 15 game unbeaten run and lately my results haven't been too good.

Doesn't matter now, I beat Portsmouth at home on the last day of the season whilst Newcastle could only manage a draw away to Arsenal. I have bought in about 10 new players and my squad is beginning to look pretty good. I am in the Uefa Cup in my second season. I believe you have to have the same data and same version, skins are fine, but commentary I'm not sure

I have just got to the end of my first season on Champ Manager as Everton, and realizing that I was £65k over my wage budget I let quite a few of my players contracts run out including striker's Duncan Ferguson and Kevin Campbell. I also sold my top scorer, Ki-Hyeon Seol to Chelsea for £7 million, and released youth team striker Paul Hopkins. Well now I am left with:

I have had a £4 million offer accepted for Robinho and I am just waiting for the work permit, and I am also waiting for a reply on my offer of £3.5 million for Allesandro Simonetta. In a couple of my friendlies I have been noticing that my attack seems really lightweight and I was wondering, do you people think Simonetta and Robinho will be all I need to revamp my frontline or does anybody have any different idea's of who I should buy to make my attack better ? I am using the normal database, and all I have loaded is the Scottish premiership,1st,2nd,and 3rd divisions. Also English Premiership, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Conference divisions.

Switch McFadden up front if you need to, if you get Robinho it should be enough depth, also look for Carlos Tevez from Boca, he is amazing.

Ok,I signed Robinho and I will have to spend the rest of my transfer budget to start negotiations with Tevez (New club record, £12 million) but now I will have to wait for the work permit. Meanwhile I have signed James Milner and David Bentley both on free transfers. After getting my wage budget back down it looks like it is going to go straight back up with Tevez wanting £40,000 per week. I have got the season off to a pretty good start beating Leeds at home 3-2 and Sunderland away 2-0. When is the draw for the Uefa Cup held, I am deffinatly in it with finishing 6th aren't I ?

If your playing Diablo (as seeing from your formation you are) Gravesen is terrible for that position.

Look for a player called Boy-Boy and play him there, he's pretty nifty.

No I didn't use diablo, I downloaded it but I didn't have any midfielders to run right up the pitch apart from McFadden and I wanted him for the wings. I will have a look for the player you mentioned. I found out a pretty decent tactic, i will post a screenshot later.
