So what's gonna happen with this Zack, Henning Jr., Otunga thing that just happened last night?

:naughty:

Maybe he's gonna bring Curt Hawkins with him to challenge for the tag team belts? Dunno if he wants to join them though

Maybe the three of them can continue to not be over.

Gonna take over leadership of The NexZus when Punk is gone.

He's going to be turned into the new DAMN, get a slight push, milk him for his merch and released before the end of the year.

I would love to see that.

Oh god please let that be true. I'd love to see the tag division get some spotlight. Unfortunatly it's not going to happen and at best we'll get a little Ryder on our TVs for the next couple weeks before he falls back into obscurity.

I'm not sure it had any real connection to McGillicutty & Otunga, did it? I thought it was just Ryder coming out, saying his catchphrase and leaving? In my opinion, Xero's probably right on the money. Although I don't think he'll be released.

Imagine if Ryder cost Cena the WWE Title at Money in the Bank, though? No chance it would ever happen, but Ryder could get rid of both Punk and Cena, claim he did it so he could move up the roster, and he's done with all this "Woo Woo Woo" shit. He's Zack Ryder and he's Punk's personal choice to take over the Nexus.

This. Although as Noid said, i don't see him being released.

Surprise me, WWE.

Oh, and take care, spike your hair.

Okay, apparently WWE.com is actually reporting that Ryder did aim it at McGillicutty & Otunga, and is asking just what the Nexus is supposed to know. My guess would either be that he is going to lead them when Punk leaves, or The Major Broskis go after the WWE Tag Team Titles. Personally, I'd prefer the later, because it does more with Curt Hawkins, who I think is superbly talented in the ring, and has the look to be a surprisingly effective player in time. I'd hate to see him released just because he's out of the loop.

That being said, Ryder could do the same thing next week to someone else entirely, and the gimmick will just be like Dolph Ziggler shaking people's hands...

Face build 101 for Zack then.

Tag with friend, win belts, feud with a few teams, break up with now heel partner, win feud and become huge face, start face singles push.

I can see his shit getting old fast though. He's gotta somehow manage to stay fresh

The Woo Woo Woo is kinda getting annoying.

It's like everyone has love for Zack Ryder, but it's the same kinda love you show to a dog

Or with the homies in the hood, the same love kinda love they show for the neighborhood crackhead

the RESURECTION of the tag division

...not gonna happen, I'm afraid.

Guys get into wrestling nowadays already thinking about their own individual careers, becoming famous, rich, etc...before, guys would be tag team partners for YEARS before one of the two got so over that bookers gave them a push as a singles competitor...but it would be something that sorta just happened naturally, all the while, both members of the tag team would give it their all and just focus on the TEAM, not the individual goals/dreams.

Back in the day, tag teams were made of guys who were either somehow related to each other, or really good friends...now, 2 guys who get along well with each other will get together and will do the tag team wrestling thing, but always looking for the opportunity to outshine each other, and go singles eventually.

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

– There was an idea pitched at a creative meeting several weeks ago where someone suggested that they put Zack Ryder in a new faction alongside WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. This all depends on CM Punk’s WWE future and whether or not they decide to kill off the Nexus once/if he leaves.

What no Percy Watson to completely fuck up Zack's popularity?

From the main page, looks like Zack is gonna lead his own stable. So from not on tv to leading the tag champs. Ryder will probably chase Ziggler when Kofi moves to the main event after winning MITB. I think this will really work, Perfect Jr is a very good wrestler, Otunga can talk (shite mostly) and Zack can do both very well. Could be a popular group as long as they aren't named the The Hair Care Bunch.

Where did the massive online erection come from for Zack Ryder?
- His show is decent at best. Clearly its been a good idea cos its got people talking about him but so far his two biggest career highlights are pretending to be Edge and getting caught on camera with John Cena.
- His catchphrase is funny in a sad sorta way.
- The guy is passionate about wrestling which is great to see but why shouldn't a guy be passionate about his career choice.
- Thats It. Apart from that he is worthless so far.

Hes entertaining to a great amount of individuals and he took it upon himself to get himself over and showcase his ability to entertain, something he would not have been able to showcase otherwise. Couple that with people loving to root for the underdog then...yeah.

yeah he's pretty entertaining. But he isnt over. did you hear the silence he came out to on Raw last monday? he's over on this site for sure. and if you wanna root for an underdog, root for primo

He has more signs in every Raw arena than most of the rest of the roster...he's not totally over, but he's getting there. Hence, his push.

According to reports he gets a nice reaction at live events -- despite never really turning face officially.

If Punk does leave, then McGillicutty & Otunga need something to do. Ryder leading them wouldn't exactly be bad. But I'd like it if Curt Hawkins and Primo joined. A bunch of guys without opportunities taking them.

I'd like to see Ryder, Hawkins & Baretta defend the Titles Freebird Style..... but they'd need some face teams to defend against..... Other than The Uso's, I don't see any other decent team......
