But to compare them from different time periods, it can't be done with the different eras of wrestling that were going on.

Heel Rock especially during his "Hollywood" phase.

Only experience Cena has as a heel was during his rapper gimmick days so it would be interesting how much of him would change due to him currently being a mix of a Super Cena, Marine/Patriotic guy, and Face of the WWE/WWE Universe.

I couldn't agree more. Heel Rock during his last "Hollywood" run is better than anything heel Cena has ever done thus far. The Rock was a much better heel even during his "Corporate Champion" period.

Comparisons based on Cena's rapper gimmick is a no brainer. The Rock's timing, ad libbing, and delivery on the mic were lightyears ahead of Cena. As much as Cena has tried improving like The Rock, he simply cannot pull it off.

The Rock using cue cards and pre written speeches is still better than any improv Cena has come up with. His rapping gimmick was entertaining, but The Rock as a heel >Cena. Cena's improv is horrible, so in that respect, maybe he should consider scripting his promo's to in order to make his character look better....
