Maybe Vince MacMahon has had less wrestling over the past few years because so many guys were dying or being crippled forever for wrestling long, spot-filled matches (and also living the "pro-wrestler lifestyle").

I wonder if Paul Heyman had to book on the short-term in ECW because he always had to wonder when the next guy was going to leave. Maybe he is a creative genius and was just naturally able to fly by the seat of his pants.

The current TNA/Impact Wrestling product looks and feels a lot like WCW. Somestimes they look like the Monday Nitro type show from '95 - '98 where it felt like there was so much action and you never knew what was going to happen next. Sometimes it looks like utter crap (like '00 - '01 was) where nothing makes sense and things look like they were thrown together litterally at the last moment. Not to mention that they have a rich Southerner investing in the company. The comparisons are somewhat funny.

The WWF/E Attitude Era and the original ECW can never be replicated. There just something about that time and people that made it what it was. Its best to just remember those times fondly than to ask for a return of those times.

This is what a lot of internet fans really need to come to terms with.

Or cause he's rich and doesn't need to.

Yes

TNA is a worse version of WCW Saturday Night.

You've made some interesting points, some of which were right, but even those will never be accepted as indisputable truths. Do not fret, and stay your course of enlightenment and eventually you will arrive at the "Bret screwed Bret/Vince screwed Vince" realization, which also wont be completely accepted either way.

Vince did put himself in a situation whereby he could have easily been screwed (and perhaps deservedly so in a karmic justice kind of way) by Bret. If the image of the business is so important, why put the top title on a wrestler who may be leaving to go to the competition.

Bret screwed Bret because he became his onscreen character and got himself to believe that not losing to Shawn Michaels in Canada was actually a big deal. It should have never been an issue to begin with. After it happened, Bret should have taken the high road and not cried foul so much.

Not that this should be accepted as fact. This is just thoughts and opinions.

Was thinking more along the lines of a mister Miyagi type thing.

Please. If you found the right guys and put that show back on, wrestling would explode again.

Some wrestlers even say the PG thing is bullshit, and that they hate it. There are dudes on the roster right now who would benefit themselves/sales in a non-PG environment as well. It limits the wrestlers, and the creativity of things.

Cena might not be a "thug" or whatever anymore, but he'd have a lot more fans if he could say whatever the fuck he wanted. Randy Orton would also look like a completely psychotic monster if he were able to do more. R-Truth would be a lot more than just "paranoid." It added flavor to everything.
