Went and saw this movie last Saturday and I have to say I was very impressed and loved this movie.

It was better than I expected and I have to say that if you stay till the end of the credits there is a preview for The Avengers movie and damn I am soo excited god going to be long year of waiting.

I'm tempted to go see this, and if I do, it'll be the first movie I go to the Theaters to see since taking my brother and his friend to see Scary Movie 4.

You should go, I really enjoyed it. The script is pretty good and most of the dialogue is fun, Tommy Lee Jones is hilarious. It's one of my favourite super hero movies.

It's definitely good, but if you haven't seen X-Men: First Class then you should do yourself a favor and see that one before seeing Captain America.

Captain America was way better than Thor. Thor was alright but boring in many parts.
Even First Class was more entertaining than Thor and I didn't even care for First Class before watching it.

I've been beating myself up for not seeing X-Men: First Class, I just haven't had the time because I'm to stupid/nice by helping my cousin get his first 85 on WoW, not to mention doing my dads dailys for him since he doesn't have the time.

It was about as good a movie as you're gonna get from a rather Vanilla character like Capt.

It was less silly then Thor which is both bad and good, I had a blast at Thor because it was so silly. Overall First Class is still this year's best marvel movie an probably best comic book movie too.

Capt was decent I'd say a 6.5 to a 7 out of 10. I wasn't disappointed but neither was I really overly thrilled by it.

This is the greatest movie I have ever seen in my life!

Heard good things about this from almost everyone, though.

It was fun. Were the black guy and asian guy characters in the comic? Should I have know them?

Jim Morita is a Japanese-American soldier during World War II in the Marvel Comics universe.

The character, created by Roy Thomas and Dick Ayers, first appeared in Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos #38 (January 1967).

Within the context of the Marvel universe, Jim Morita is a Nisei soldier whose squadron assisted Sergeant Fury's Howling Commandos on several missions. His squad was at one point captured and sent to a Nazi Prison Camp, but were broken out by the Commandos.[22]
[edit] In other media

The character of Jim Morita was adapted for the film Captain America: The First Avenger as a member of the Howling Commandos. The role was played by actor Kenneth Choi.

Gabriel "Gabe" Jones is a fictional character appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist and co-plotter Jack Kirby, he made his first appearance in the World War II war comics series Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos #1 (May 1963).

Also, that WAS ScarJo as Black Widow at the end, right? She isn't credited anywhere.

No that wasn't Black Widow. Just another SHIELD agent. You know her from The OC most likely.

2 complaints

I saw some Agent Smith in Hugo Weaving performance. The make up was totally kick ass though.

And
Bucky's death was stupid. Not nearly powerful enough.

It was really an enjoyable movie, and Chris Evans won me over. He did very well. Him and Haylay Atwell had really good chemistry. I hope we get some WWII flashbacks in The Avengers and in the next Captain America movie.

Great time period for a movie.

Saw this movie and I had a fun time with it. IMO it was much MORE entertaining than both Thor & First Class which were so bland, vanilla & boring

It was alright.

Hayley Atwell is absolutely scrumptious.

The only other thing to peak my interest other than Hayley, was the Batman trailer before the movie began.

It was about as good a movie as you're gonna get from a rather Vanilla character like Capt.

You are so... 'Welsh', is it?

I liked the movie. I like that it didn't even feel like a superhero movie at all. All the Indiana Jones/big adventure themes they were going for were present and I wish Jeri could have seen it.

After seeing Thor (saw these movies back to back), the whole Cosmic Cube deal and what happened to Red Skull had me excited to be following this Avengers Initiative. And it's likely the element Tony Stark needed for his condition in IM2 was inspired by the remains of the cube found by Howard's expedition. And wow at the primitive Stark Expo! Love how it all comes together.

They could totally do something with Bucky given how he was played post-super serum. They can't let what he becomes go to waste.

Loved the movie.
