Post something wrestling related in this thread that you either:

A) Hardly remember, but you think other TPWW members may be able to "FILL YOU IN" on...

or

B) Remember quite clearly, but you doubt many others remember.

It could be a wrestler (Alex "The Pug" Porteau) or an event (Raw Bowl)...anything really.

Have fun.

You know how Zack Ryder used to wear those one-legged tights? I will give a nice, shiny reputation point to the first person to name a guy in WCW who used to wear the same style of trunks.

Who was the guy they were going to bring in to feud with Undertaker straight off the bat about 5 years ago maybe.

They gave him promos on Smackdown. I think he was bald and maybe there was two others coming in with him in a sort of modern day ministry stable. Don't think he ever had a match. I can just vaguely remember it.

Also, when the Giant came to the ring smoking, was he smoking joints? Because they were mostly hand rolled.

Not sure about the Scott AlcoHall bit, but they were just cigarettes for The Giant. I remember him always instructing Vincent to 'hold his cigarette' before each match, then winning the match before the thing even burned out.

So was Savio Vega. Anybody remember his Carribean Strap Match with Steve Austin at what I want to say was 'In Your House: Beware of Dog'?

Actually, the power went out at that PPV. They continued the show live, but the feed was lost to paying viewers, so they had 'Beware of Dog 2' for free. The power went out during Savio Vega's entrance.

I just made myself a little sad upon realizing that I know that.

I was at InVasion in the 9th row. Palumbo and O'Haire v. Edge and Christian, right? This was the same night that RVD made his WW(E) "debut" (if you don't count the mini-ECW invasion that happened circa 1997 when Sabu jumped off the "R" in the word "RAW" onto Flash Funk or someone) against Jeff Hardy and Steve Austin joined the Alliance in the ten-man tag main event.

Other matches included Earl Hebner v. Nick Patrick and a tag team Bra and Panties match where Trish Stratus and Lita defeated Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler.

Sabu more "Fell" than "jumped," and it was onto Team Taz during the Taz vs. Mikey Whipwreck match. Other matches included Little Guido (I think the FBI was with him, but I can't recall) vs. Big Stevie Cool (complete with the bWo and a Raven cameo) & Tommy Dreamer vs. Bubba Ray Dudley (which featured D-Von and Sign Guy in a post-match attack and then Sandman making the save). "Vladimir" - The most famous super fan. Dark skin, tan, short hair, glasses, slender, always wearing a neon tank top, always flashing the #1 sign.

"Charlie" - Used to be spotted right next to Vladimir...short, fat guy with black hair and a ponytail. Used to wear bandanas and give the camera the finger or the #1 sign.

anyone know if these guys were some execs cousin or they just had cash to blow following vince around to big shows?

That was the first In Your House. Sunny and Dok Hendrix or somebody called the contestant on the PPV and the guy picked a number (there were a bunch of numbered keys). He picked "3", I think...and it didn't unlock anything. Ultimately, nobody won anything. Great contest, guys.

Sure your not thinking of Summerslam 97, I recall they had that "Million Dollar" contest there but no one won.

I think that was two different things. I think the key thing was from Summerslam, but they definitely gave away a house at the first IYH.

OK, now Summerslam is ringing a bell. So somebody actually DID get a house at In Your House?

Matt Pomposelli of Henderson, Nevada won it according to the IYH wiki page

Which one was Bull Buchanan? Recon or Sniper?

Bull Buchanan was Recon, Sniper was Rambo from Otto Wanz' CWA.

Offtopic but remember when Ultimo Dragon had like 10 belts? At once?

Actually it was 11, as he had also held the WAR World Six-Man Tag Team Championship as well.
