*Bret Hart is General Manager for the night and announces Mark Henry challenging Randy Orton for the World title on Super Smackdown next week. Christian interjects and match is changed to a steel cage match with him. Henry isn't happy, intimidates Bret. Sheamus comes and runs him off.

Randy Orton vs. Ted Dibiase is scheduled for tonight.

*Henry calls Sheamus out and Sheamus clears him out again.

*Christian pinned Daniel Bryan with a Killswitch. Great match.

*Wade Barrett cuts a promo refusing to face "this dreg" (local Lance Storm student Tbone) and walks off.

*Sin Cara beat Heath Slater. Match was a trainwreck and they re-did the finish.

*World champion Orton beat Ted DiBiase in a really good match. After the match, Rhodes attacked Dibiase and bagged him.

*Ezekiel Jackson beat The Great Khali with the torture rack. Impressive visual!

*Sin Cara defeated Heath Slater. Yep, they re-taped the entire match.

*World champ Randy Orton cut a promo about his steel cage match with Christian on Tuesday.

*Sheamus beat Mark Henry by countout after Brogue kicking Henry over the announce table. They brawled after and Henry nailed the World's Strongest Slam on Sheamus onto the steel ring steps.

Guys I have some serious complaints RE: Daniel Bryan.

As long as he is wrestling on TV I'm happy. Every week it seems he puts on an amazing match. Last week with Del Rio and sounds like Christian match this week a great one too. It's not like he's losing to scrubs here. Last week the new Champion and this week a guy who needed building back up for a World Title Match next week.

As long as he doesn't start losing to Santino every week or something. He will be just fine.

Also pretty embarrassing for Sin Cara and Slater to have to retape an ENTIRE match that couldn't even be edited down. Imagine if it was the live Smackdown next week.

That torture rack will be pretty sweet to see as well.

I got back from the event a little while ago.

They had to also refilm Sheamus knocking Mark Henry out of the ring.

The SinCara double refilm completely killed the crowd and there were numerous refund chants the rest of the night. It was the worst WWE show I've ever seen.

Even with Christian vs. Bryan on the card?

I actually want to see this, not the match itself, just this.

Ezekiel Jackson defeated The Great Khali with the torture rack.

I also wonder if he will do 3 straight scoop slams to Khali too.

Has anybody here been to a Smackdown taping? I read on the Front Page that WWE re-did the finish to the Sin Cara/Slater match, and the Mark Henry/Sheamus thing...

...how do they do this? Like, if they're going to re-do the finish to a match, do they have the guys just start beating on each other, have the one who will "go over" hit his finisher, and then edit the match later? Or how?

Even with Christian vs. Bryan on the card?

One decent match doesn't make up for a whole line up of shit.

And for the guy asking about how they re-did it. Sin Cara was celebrating, then the ref rolled Slater into the ring and they continued as if the pin never happened.

Sounds awful. Hate when they have to re-do stuff. Completely kills the point of it for the crowd.

Really fucking stupid to not take advantage of a Sin Cara/Sin Cara feud possibility.

That being said, I really think they're going to need to give him the ax soon or at least sent him to FCW. You just can't fuck up that often.

Sin Cara's been a total mess. I'm surprised he hasn't been sent to FCW or released yet.

If Mystico still has a job by the end of the year, I'll be shocked.

Well, not really because Tyler Reks still has a job.

They should have really known better than to put Sin Cara in a match with Heath Slater. Neither man can speak English.

CSL

they're the ones that put Sin Cara on TV without an ounce of experience working the American TV style and no grasp of English, they should have seen these problems coming. And there's surely no way they release him unless he asks to leave or more wellness problems. Even the likes of Punk and Danielson benefited from a spell in developments, it's there for a reason, monkeys cry about great wrestlers being sent to developmental but wrestling for live TV, PPV or pre-tapes with the sheer size of a WWE production and how everything works is completely different to anything else around, no matter how great or experienced you are.

The show was off to a bad start when it let Bret Hart talk on a mic for longer than 10 seconds.

Interesting twist on the Sin Cara story. It wasn't Mistico but Hunico who wrestled the matches.

From PWinsider:

Earlier this week, during the Smackdown spoilers, we noted that WWE had to film a match between Sin Cara and Heath Slater twice due to a number of moves being botched during the initial taping in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that it was actually WWE developmental talent Hunico working as Cara in both matches. The original Cara was at the event and dressed to wrestle, but management opted not to use him on TV. It's most interesting he wasn't used, as he was free and clear from his WWE Wellness Suspension.

...this is becoming confusing...

...and they need to get it on tv as an "on air angle" SOON.

Disappointed that Barrett wasn't booked to squash that jobber then complain about it afterward instead we only got a short promo watta gip.

It's a different route. He would have squashed the guy had the match happened but instead he decided it wasn't worth his time since it wouldn't have proven anything. I like it.

I was surprised that bret and Booker referred to the world title as title and not championship on SD... Didn't the E tell their guys to only refer to the belts as "championships"? Or is the E backing away from that?

I personally dislike the word championship... doesn't work for me for some inexplicable reason... I'd rather hear title or belt.

Hah! The Great Khali with the most nonchalant tap out of all time.

lol I agree with that. Looked like khali was trying to remember how long to wait before he tapped. As cool as that may have looked, I thought it wasnt as impressive as when Luger racked Big show at wcw's ww3 96 or 97 (forget which), or Cena lifting both show and edge at WM, or Lesnar f5 ing show at survivor series.

Think they outlawed the use of "belt". Championship and title are still OK.

I agree with both, in the sense that the short interview was a gip, and that the direction is different enough to be interesting.

Part of me suspects that the E might be somehow trying to make Barrett an SD version of Punk as far as being different or more "real". :o Hopefully I'm wrong...

I remember seeing this happening YEARS ago in the E... a wrestler getting on the mic and refusing to work with the jobber, (wish I could remember when and with who), but it had a different feel back then. I think wcw did it too, but I don't remember.

Nobody's mentioned D.Bryan slipping off the top rope...

Oh well, that match was pretty awesome.
