Is there any wrestling company past or present that has a union if so who and if no why not?

Fantastic post there by the Captain of Fun!
Anyways, I think the better question would be "Should wrestling become a union?"
In short- no. It would make it harder to fire people. It's not nice to say that, but as a union member I see so much dead wood that's screwing me out of hours. As long as WWE can fire people at will (like the first Sin Cara) they can make room for new people to earn the spot light (like the second Sin Cara).

Union, not really, but they need better health benefits, etc.

Unfortunately not every company is as revolutionary as OCW.

Thanks another question that kind of ties into this isn't listing wrestlers as independent contractors a mis classification? I mean they are refer
ed to as employees but no health benefits and they can't work for other companies it all seems a bit shady and unfair.
I Hope what I'm trying to ask isnt too confusing

You hit it right there.
It seems SHADY and UNFAIR, because it IS.
It has all to do with McMahon keeping complete control over the guys, working them until he can't get anything more out of them and then letting them go at his own will. He saves a fortune by having them work this way and they are all OK with it because they know they will never grab enough support in an ever-changing, ass-kissing environment to actually DEMAND a union.

It's not going to happen as long as you've got selfish guys looking out for their paycheck and people too worried about looking like a problem in the locker room.
