I always had the idea in my head that Jerry Lynn was doing some sort of "Devil Worship" gimmick or something while he was in ECW.
I can't find anything about him and the things he used to do with blood during his matches and I am, at this time, unable to view videos to research it.
What was Jerry Lynn's deal before he became the New F'n Show?

Dunno much about that. I remember him writing DIE on his chest using Steve Corino's blood though.

I remember that match, epic bout, I don't remember him using the Devil Worshiper gimmick.

Well, he had a heavy metal theme, and was using blood, so he must worship Satan? Isnt that right Swiss, you conservative bastard.

As i remember, the corino incident happened after he became the new fucking show.
My memories of JL in ECW are that, at first, he had a best of series wit Justin Credible in 98, then feuded with RVD in early 99 where he got the nickname, after that did the match with Corino. Won the world title the following year from Credible, lost it and turned heel when he joined the netwrok.

I think you're confusing Jerry Lynn for James Mitchell...
