He’s battled renegade mutants, conquered Broadway and exterminated bloodthirsty vampires. And now, Hugh Jackman prepares for what may be his wildest role yet: celebrity guest star of WWE Raw SuperShow.

The acclaimed actor, best known for his portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men film franchise, takes over WWE Raw SuperShow Monday, September 19, less than 24 hours after Night of Champions, live from Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena. And he can’t wait.

"In two weeks, I'll be climbing into the ring on Raw to hang with the Superstars and the give the WWE Universe an exclusive first look at my new movie, Real Steel. Don’t miss it,” said Jackman, who stars in the upcoming sci-fi action flick, in theaters October 7. (WATCH TRAILER)

In preparation for Jackman's arrival, watch behind-the-scenes footage and more action from Jackman in Real Steel. For WWE Raw SuperShow ticket info, visit WWE’s live tour ticket site, powered by Kmart.

Cue some lame Wolverine joke in a backstage segment. Probably Santino wanting to add an extra 'something' to the Cobra....

Gotta admit though, this is the first time I actually give a shit about a celebrity guest host.

Probably not the first time for me, but they certainly have been few and far between.

Not particularly interested, but at least it's somebody I actually know. Quite often they've had US-only celebrities.

I think the word "Wolverine" may still be blacklisted in WWE's books, given how sketchy they are on Benoit. I'm surprised they allow anyone named Chris in WWE. Even Christian should probably have been made to change his name by now.

The Canadian Rage, Rick Rudian Cage.

And usually D- or E-list celebrities. A couple names show up now and again, but most are crap.

Oh dear me. Would be better if WWE chooses one of their wrestlers as a host every week.

Yuck. I hate when they have people come and plug whatever the fuck they're involved in. It's like watching a commercial within the actual program, which is then followed by more commercials. Considering this is a Supershow, I feel like a ton of names will be left off the show, just to promote a fucking movie called Blue Steel that WWE will see precisely zero dollars from. A waste of everyone's time, A-list or otherwise.

I like Hugh Jackman, but hate guest hosts. So i'm conflicted.

I expect him to give negative fucks about pro wrestling and generally be worthless. Here's hoping I'll be surprised. Also that movie looks fun.
