1.) I definitely hope this leads to a Ziggler/Ryder feud where Zack chases the U.S. title belt for a month or two before finally winning it and getting his first major singles championship...Lord knows he's worked his ass off more than enough to get a shot at it.

2.) Seriously thought, like many here tonight that the "someone" who got fired would be Triple H getting swerved by Vince on his own promise. But I suppose, in retrospect, in respect to serving any kind of purpose of furthering the storyline, that would've made things anticlimactic.
