I miss the days of Striker/Grisham on SD. Booker T is terrible.

Like I said in another thread, Booker would be a great if he would be less of his gimmick when on commentary. He has great insight, enthusiasm and experience. He isn't boring by any means. It's just too over the top at times.

It's kind of interesting watching the pay per views when it's Lawler/Booker/Cole as opposed to Lawler/Cole or Lawler/Cole/Striker. Jerry seems to come to life a bit more working with Booker, whereas he seemed to mail it in with Cole and seemed to hate working with Striker.

Booker T is hilarious. He's not the most "technically skilled" announcer by any stretch, but he's so fucking human. He really adds a fun element to the Smackdown crew. I really like that no matter how much shit Cole talks to him, Booker can remind him that he can kick the shit out of him and he'll pipe down.

This is what I'd be a fan of. Striker can bring proper analysis and smart-ass edge to color, while Booker can be his over-the-top energetic self. Striker is still, for my money, the best commentator working in the WWE. You have William Regal who is getting better all the time, too, but let him keep working on NXT and FCW for a while.

Josh Mathews is another favourite of mine. I'd be all for him replacing Michael Cole as "The Voice of the WWE." It's not that I hate Cole -- I find him entertaining and he knows what he's doing. But I'd much rather see him leave the booth and become a heel manager, or something.
