Best: Luther Reigns (as bodyguard)...He was better than Deacon Batista IMO

Worst: The guy who was with Cena.
You mean Bull Buchanan (B Squared?) He was a running buddy, not a bodyguard.
Also, does Head count as a bodyguard? :shifty:
Best: Virgil
Say what you want about him as an in-ring competitor or a convention draw, he played the bodyguard role perfectly, and for quite a long time.
I also have to say, I'm a bit surprised not to see any love for Cowboy Bob Orton here. Hell the man was Piper's bodyguard for the first Wrestlemania for crying out loud.
Worst: Bam Neely
He just did nothing, they clearly threw him at a stable to see if he would catch on at all.
And fuck all y'all that said Curtis Hughes. He kicked ass.
Best - Tried to think of someone else but no one has been better in that role than BigDaddyCool Diesel.
Worst - Does Matt Morgan count when he was with Carlito? If not then the other guy that was with Carlito. Was it Jesus? (No not that guy)

I feel about Andrews the wa I feel about Ziggler being named "Worst World Heavyweight Champion", the guy didn't get a shot at doin anything with the role.
Also, it feels like they gave up on Tyson Kidd/the angle more than they gave up on Jackson Andrews.
I feel "the worst" should be someone given the role for a decent amount of time but failed or someone that should never have been given the role in the first place.

A few other names I wanna throw out there are some of the guys who have been bodyguards in TNA. Murphy was obviously the Marty Janetty of his team (although I think Janetty won more often). There was those 2 fat Main Event Mafia security guards (don't think they ever won a match), and in the early days Eric Watts had a guy named Chris Vaughn as his security that was basically a little jobber with "a lot of heart"

In a shock to nobody (and despite the efforts of Ralphus) our Best Ever Bodyguard is...

WORST
Despite being given virtually no chance in the role, TPWW have named Jackson Andrews as wrestling's Worst Bodyguard of All Time.
http://i953.photobucket.com/albums/ae11/p455vv0rd/Jackson-Andrews-7.jpg?t=1320686795
He looks all kind of shocked/upset.
This proves that nobody wants a bodyguard that won't give you a beat.

Hughes wasn't the best, but he damn sure wasn't the worst.
Brodus Clay didn't "fit" with being the muscle for Of The River. If he were someone like, say, Hernandez, it would have made more sense.
And Jayne Cobb (Jackson Andrews) was only around for a cup of coffee.
With that said...
Best: 'Zeke Jackson
Say what you want about his singles run as Ahmed Johnson II, but him being the bouncer for The Brian Kendrick was gold. He was like Virgil, Diesel, and Silent Bob all rolled into one. Likely would have given all the Nash/HBK pairing a run for their money if Spanky could've stopped toking up long enough.
Worst: Massive Swol'
Who? Exactly. He was the one jackass from Master P's No Limit Solider stable in WCW. Go ahead, look it up. I'm not inventing this. Or the fact that there were factions involving ICP and The Misfits.
Back to Big Swol, he brought nothing to the table, other than huge arms and an extra medium shirt. At least Diciple interacted with Hogan. At least The Wall helped out Alex Wri... Berlyn. Swol' did nothing but walk to the ring and get paid.

Everything fell into place for him, what else can be said?
Worst- Chyna
I never really gave a damn about the idea of a female bodyguard. If you punch her, you're still hitting a girl.

Lol, speaking of Swol there was another guy named 4X4 that was completely worthless in that stable (then again of the 20 members only 3 actually knew how to wrestle) This 4X4 (later on to be known by Kash in Harlem Heat 2000) was a very solid 400lbs but I dont think he ever actually had a match in WCW. He just stood around ringside and the commentators ogled about how big he is.

Uhhh, that was kinda why she worked so well. If you hit her, you were hitting a girl...but chances are that she could kick your ass anyway. She was a great bodyguard.
