So this came out on XBLA just over a week ago. I had no idea it even existed until then.

Downloaded the demo last week and still enjoying it so I'll be buying the full game next week, most likely.
Demo has 2 story missions, tutorial, limited version of Team Creator and quickplay for up to 4 players with one map and one weapon set.

Anyone else getting it/got it?

It's out now on the 360 and PC and will be out on PS3 "Q4 2011" according to Wikipedia.

I like the 3D worms games so I'm glad this showed up. It's supposed to be everything from Worms 3D and Worms 4 in one game, including both games campaigns.

Some Worms 3D maps are missing but Team17 are looking into patching them in for free.

Used to play armaggedon all the time on PC, so I'll give it a try.

It is a totally different feel being all 3D and junk, but still fun.

If you want the classic 2D one, Worms Reloaded came out last year as well, which pretty much is a slightly updated Armageddon.

WUM has the usual team creator but it has a weapon creator as well, which should be interesting. Saw a trailer just now that showed an "air strike" style weapons that dropped exploding eyeballs rather than bombs.
You could pick how much damage the weapon did, if it poisoned the worms etc.

As much as I enjoyed the 2D games, I've always preferred the 3D ones, when given a choice. It's a pity they never seemed to take off as well as the 2D games did.

Edit, the trailer I mentioned:
