I totally remember him.

Hadn't noticed Alberto Del Rio looks like him, though...

Lulz...it's practically Alberto Del Rio with a hat.

Tom Brandi. Yes. The only time I saw him live, he lost to Shawn Michaels on an episode of Superstars circa 1996 or so.

I do remember exactly how his theme song sounds without even following through, though.

How can you not remember the classic Tom Brandi/Marc Mero feud?

That video also proves that The Rock stole the word "jabroni" from the Marvelous one

Jim Ross: I'm a Baaaaaaaaaaaaad man

A reference to Marc Mero's other known gimmick: Johnny B. Badd.

Yeah I remember a WWE article featuring him and The Goon plus two other guys I can't remember atm being their top prospects it's no suprise that WCW's ratings improved with crap gimmicks like those.

Why would they care about some radio contest?

Will never forget when they used to show WCW Saturday Night or something, when I was a kid, with two random guys (who were most likely drunk) on commentary making up names for wrestlers and moves.

Johnny B. Badd was Johnny Tutti Frutti according to them.

I'm fairly positive Wilkes "sold" the gimmick to Brandi, as in he wasn't so much screwed over as he was doing a favor so his buddy could get an extra paycheck per night using an established character.

If you are referring to this one Rocky won the match via DQ.

I'm sorry, but I can't buy him as The Patriot. Del was more belivable than him.

Poor Tom Brandi, in at number three, eliminated by Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie.
