View Full Version : Reluctantly Going to Vengeance - Sign Help

I think im in the right section...

I seem to have wasted money on Vengeance tickets (Like 6+ months ago) and am seemingly being punished by being subjected to yet another John Cena main event. I really want to express my boredom/annoyance/disgust at this development (and the fact that Punk is not in the ME) with the incredibly small hope that it gives SOMEBODY a wake up call.

Any ideas? Or should I just scalp the tickets?

If you really want to show your dissatisfaction with the product, don't go.

Don't scalp them, just don't go.

Oh noes, Punk isn't in the main event, he's just in a much more interesting match :'( :'( :'(

Just leave before the last match if it offends you that much, assuming Cena/Del Rio is on last.

I do feel bad that you won't be able to fast forward Mark Henry's match though.

If I just didn't go I'd be out $ without any dissatisfaction to show for it. Where's the fun in that?

Really though I spend the money so I'm obligated.

One sign should say it all:

MARK HENRY? SERIOUSLY?

Just like a hooker. Already spent the money, no looking back. Enjoy it and hate yourself after the fact.

Don't know what you're bitching about, the Vengeance card is looking pretty good to me thus far. Aside from Cena/Del Rio Part 5 or whatever.

HHH/Punk vs Miz/Truth will likely be the main event.
Henry vs Big Show will more likely be used to hype Henry even more so over as a monster heel.
I expect to see Orton/Rhodes added to the PPV, and as much as I can't fucking stand Orton, him in a match with Rhodes at a PPV will be fucking amazing.

While it would make sense for the tag to main event considering it's part of the big storyline on RAW right now, I kind of doubt that it's going to happen. For one, Miz and Truth are being pushed right now, but the two of them against HHH Punk probably isn't considered a big enough tag team match to be put in the main event slot, UNLESS some kind of huge stipulation is added to it. When's the last time a tag match headlined a PPV?

And secondly, Vengeance is in San Antonio, Texas, which has a very high Hispanic populace. They're going to want to put their Hispanic WWE Champion into the main event.

Ermaximus:

Idk maybe it's because I also went to TLC 2010 and I ended up seeing a tag main and now here's another. This isn't ROH or CHIKARA where you know there's going to be quality, (I mean endless spots, kick outs) this is going to be another WWE phone in, Punk not withstanding.

Then there's the fact that it took 15 years to do something with Mark Henry, and It's just my luck that he'd be in a match I pay for.

And it seems like the constant Cena matches are starting to remind me of Batista's main event after main even, to the point where you know they don't care anymore. (welcome to 2003)

And how many exciting WWE title matches happened over the last 4 months on PPV? And I'm subjected to THIS match?

I am starting to think I need to chill out though. Lol But I do like the "status quo" and the "voiceless" ideas.

When you bought these tickets +6 months ago, Punk was no where near the main event and there was no indication that the situation would have been any different than John Cena vs ???? for the WWE Title. I'm not sure where your sense of disappointment is coming from other than just blind disdain for John being in the title hunt yet again.

Honestly, I think the WWE has been far more entertaining than it was 6 months ago...And based on the last few PPV's, something of some importance is bound to happen.

Just go. Enjoy the show, and bring a sign that says "I paid to see Punk!"

Well I was hoping for a good show during all these months. And Punk being pushed gave me hope in the lead up.

I hope he does something to further establish that he's heel and there's only one face in the match.

CM Punk better not be in the fucking main event. He's been in 4 straight main events. HOW BOUT A LITTLE VARIETY WWE

Question: why exactly does it matter if Cena or Punk main events? You knew they were both going to be on the card when you bought the tickets, so why does it matter when you get to see them wrestle?

If anything, having your least favorite wrestler go on last would seem ideal. You can duck out early and beat the traffic.

Gertner
10-12-2011, 03:31 PM
Punk had his shot at Hell in a Cell and ended up getting pinned. Maybe he should have tried harder and won the match.,

Whatever you decide to write to express your displeasure, wait to make the sign until you're actually in your seat, then put it on the back of a "pro-WWE" sign to make sure that the event staff don't take your "bad" sign before the ppv ever starts.

Supreme Olajuwon

You know what would be hilarious, is if you just ruined the PPV for everyone around you by acting like an uppity entitled douchebag who thinks he knows everything about wrestling because he has a computer.

Make sure to taunt any little kids you see wearing Cena shirts and tell them how stupid they are for liking a guy with a limited moveset. It's your right. You paid for your ticket. Their parents paid for their tickets so they have no right to enjoy themselves.

While that might be true, it's not like further south where some towns can be mistaken for Mexico because of everyone's need to embrace the culture. Here, nothing really stands out and I'm fairly certain we don't go to a show because a Hispanic guy is headlining. In other words, we're not necessarily a pro-Hispanic city.....except for that whole Fiesta crap every God damn spring.
