The Charismatic Enigma is the focus of this week’s “Before or After”. Ever the risk taker, he defies gravity (and sometimes, logic) whenever he steps into the ring. What I wanna know is do you think Jeff Hardy was better before or after the end of his first TNA stint, which was around mid-2006?

Before. I really can't stand either Hardy, but when they were new/fresh as a tag team, they were ok.

This is actually a tough one. My initial thoughts were after, but he had some great mid card title runs before.... Still, I'll go with after.

After. His return to WWE was his best material.

Before.

He had drugs problems during both periods but it seemed to get worse after his 1st run with TNA and him doing it at the worst times possible for both TNA and WWE.

He had some nice feuds and title reigns after his first run with TNA but almost all got cut short or ruined because of his problems.

Although his problems ended up benefiting CM Punk's rise the most, especially their last feud together where Punk managed to become the most hated heel and a legit star as a result.

Neither. I have never, ever cared for Jeff or Matt Hardy. At all.

Yup. I like him a little bit around the time of the T.I.T., but I actually found myself getting behind him leading up to his title win. He was on fire for a minute there.

I'm going with after simply based on his feud with CM Punk. The Hardys were a great team back in the day, but after they split up, Matt showed how awesome he could be with his 'V1' stuff, while Jeff just kinda became a bump machine with facepaint.

That CM Punk rivalry was pretty much the only time Jeff was involved with anything I gave a shit about.

It's a shame that they weren't in the WWE together, but I would have loved to have seen a CM Punk vs. Eddie Guerrero feud in the same mold as the Punk/Hardy one. Maybe Punk's rise to the top would've happened a year or two sooner than it did. He was already over enough to be placed in the top tier, IMO. Who knows. Maybe Eddie would've been the first victim of the MITB cash-in instead of Edge.

Before. Way too many great memories of Hardy Boys during the attitude era.

I'll say before because of his great Ladder, TLC, Tables, Cage performances in the Hardy Boyz, his weekly mini feuds/matches against wrestler X, his series of matches against RVD, his match against Triple H for the IC title, his ladder match with the Undertaker, match against Y2J, his TNA debut against AJ Styles.

In a couple more years if Jeff can keep straight and off the drugs my answer may prove to change to AFTER as he had some great outings with Nitro, Umaga, a match with Flair, feud with Orton, epic feud with CM Punk, and even his matches in TNA against RVD, Angle, Kennedy, Sting (the Impact match not the Loser Road match).

I would prefer to see him back in the WWE though.

I didn't watch wrestling or keep up with it at all in between early mid 2003 and 2008 so I'd say before.

Maybe Punk could have saved Eddie from a steroid-induced heart attack!
