At tonight’s Smackdown event in Brussels, Belgium, Christian appeared to have injured his knee during a match with Sheamus.

About four or five minutes into their match, Sheamus threw Christian into the ropes. As Christian came off the ropes, he attempted to slide under Sheamus’ legs and instantly grabbed his knee. When he tried to get up, he limped. As the referee came to check on him, it was apparent that he was hurt. The referee said something to Sheamus, who proceeded to quickly hit Christian with the Brogue kick to end the match.

After the match, the referee gave the X sign as Christian rolled out of the ring. The referee and a member of security helped him to the back. It appeared to be Christian’s right knee or ankle that was injured, and it looked pretty serious.

I'm only TPWW's #3 peep. Somewhere out there, two other people are hurting more than I am. :( (I have no idea who though).

This sucks though, Christian has been solid this year and has been featured in main storylines constantly since around Wrestlemania time. Hopefully it's not too serious.

Christian has left the European tour due to the injury he suffered yesterday against Sheamus in Belgium.

Word is that he has suffered either a sprained or broken ankle.

Either he will be placed if it's broken, or they will go down to 4 on 4 in the SS match. I could see him being replace by Dolph Ziggler, making him wreste twice in back to back PPVs...:drool:

WWE.com has learned from WWE medical personnel that Christian suffered a severe high ankle sprain while competing on WWE's recent overseas tour throughout Europe. The severity of the sprain has made it impossible for him to compete as a member of Team Barrett against Team Orton at Survivor Series this Sunday.

Christian's ankle injury is further compounded by what transpired a week prior on SmackDown, during which Christian claimed to have suffered a neck injury as the result of a chokeslam at the massive hands of Big Show.

At this point in time, no replacement has been named, nor has it been determined whether or not Team Captain Wade Barrett will be leading a four-man team into Survivor Series this Sunday.

I was just thinking of replacements and on SmackDown, the only real heels are Slater, Mahal and Kidd. :-\

But seeing as the brand split doesn't really mean much now, I think maybe Brodus Clay will be the replacement. He has his debut tonight so he might debut by attacking someone on Team Orton or be introduced by Barrett as Christian's replacement and then go to the ring and fuck shit up.

Yea, I for some reason thought Christian was a face. Upon realizing my fuck up, I retract D Bryan and input Brodus Clay.

I could see them randomly adding him to try and counter Ryan so they can both get double counted out.

Mighty Mason vs Big Brodus. Double count out at SS. Book it!
