I saw this in some conservative kids profile, looked it up, tested a few of the songs, and might buy it. Its some compilation made by Fat Wreck Chords, its got a few bigger bands on it, The Offspring, NoFX, Sum 41, Anti-Flag. Has anybody heard it to see if the music is worth buying, or if the money is going to a, cough, good cause?

Er, a conservative with an anti-Bush album?

Also, those bands are basically against everything. They do it because they think it makes them cool.

Fat Mike for pres
It's a good cd for music though... They talk out there ass the whole cd about political stuff though.
pretty sure NFG said on it that he doesn't follow politics but if fat mike doesn't like bush then neither does he.

Sum 41 is from Canada. What business do they have in this?

So because you're in America does that mean you can't dislike Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden?

When I said I found it on a conservative kids profile, I found it in a sentence like this "some idiots have the gall to make an album called Rock Against Bush, do everyone a favor and don't buy it." I guess he is working against himself.

Because Bush has done nothing internationally which would lead foreigners to take notice...

Seems kinda dumb to me.
I'm not a big lover of political music anyway.

For me, it depends.
Extreme's III Sides to Every Story has some pretty politically charged songs. They're written well enough that it works.

The only song I have heard off that CD is the Ataris song. It sucks quite a lot.

The only song I have heard off that CD is the Ataris song (Which I think is a Bad Religion cover). It sucks quite a lot.

I heard the Ministry track off it which was...er... strange. Sounds like Al Jourgensen's been listening to too much Children of Bodom...

I like political music, but not when it's crap.
It's an okay comp, couple of really good songs, couple of really crappy songs like most other comps.

Ok, finally bought it today, for the very low price of £5.
Awesome CD altogether - The NOFX one is undoubtedly my favourite though. And The Ataris song still sucks a lot.

The Alklaine Trio song and the Less than Jake song (featuring Billy Brag) both rule
Some of the other songs are pretty good
There are a lot of smaller punk bands who I've never even heard of and some of their songs are distinctly average
However, as already mentioned, the Ataris one does suck
