2011 TPWW The Gammies Awards

Just like last year, list the best games you personally played for any category <s> with voting lasting till December 18 (1 week) and then the winners posted later that day </s>.


EDIT: I decided to extend regular voting till the end of December 23 but the poll for Game of the Year couldn't be extended and ends on the 18th. Thanks Hasney for fixing the poll to stay open for a few more days.


Arkham City, LA Noire, and Mortal Kombat ended up having the most votes in the nominations thread for the Game of the Year category. Skyrim and Skyward Sword automatically made this list.

A quick run-down of some of the categories:
* Best Downloadable for consoles only counts XBLA, PSN, WiiWare/VC and not any retail title (ex. Games on Demand for Xbox 360).
* Same goes for Best Downloadable for the PC category.
* Best PC is only for retail games which had physical copies in stores along with downloadable copies on Steam or other digital providers.

I only locked up Skyrim and Skyward Sword thinking those 2 would be nominated the most and as some insurance in case the nominations ended up bad.

Left the nominations open for a week and it turned out Uncharted 3, Portal 2, and a few bigger games missed out by 1 vote.
