It's going to be Cena versus himself at the Royal Rumble. It's going to be nothing but Cena standing in the middle of the ring looking from one side to the other while the crowd chants "Let's go Cena/Cena sucks" until he breaks into tears.

I say Kane eliminates Cena in Rumble. Cena gets revenge at EC. He's free for Mania vs Rock. Disappointing really leaves Kane out of any real major Mania plans but looking like may be where they are heading with this.

Haven't read the thread yet. Thought RAW was pretty good. Happy about Punk vs. Dolph and seems this could be the beginning of a great year for Dolph. A few fun matches and decent angles tonight, especially Dolph vs. Punk.

Didn't know Del Rio was injured at all. Sucks for him.

As for the Kane/Cena stuff. The promo started off pretty great, with the wall of flame and all that. There was some cheesiness on Kane's part, but for the most part I was enjoying it. It actually made me miss his over-produced promos which I was against at the time. It was definitely in that style, with a "smarter" Kane cutting a promo on Cena. Just felt it was missing something, that atmosphere.

Anyway, it was going pretty okay until Kane tried (and subsequently failed) to start a "Cena Sucks" chant. It went from monster Kane to something Kane should absolutely not be doing at this point. Don't get me wrong, I understand what they were trying to accomplish in playing mind games with Cena, but Kane was pandering to the fans by doing that, and that made it pretty terrible to me.

I taped it from Sky Sports 1 directly and there were a lot of ads for the Red Hot channel.

VSG: It's a late night showing, they specifically say before the show that kids should not be watching this edition of Raw. It's repated throughout the week in an edited form for kids.

Maybe it's just me, but I sure hope after Kane gets back to in-ring competition that they cut out all the wasted time between his pyro and the start of his theme...pretty annoying, even though I can kind of see why they did it the first time just to create a little "suspense". It worked then, but it's getting to be a bigger and bigger nuisance every week.

I'm guessing I'm the only one who noticed this, but it did annoy me that they had the itbegins video "intercept" the RAW feed and not acknowledge it because they weren't aware of it (as has been done the last few weeks), then like a segment or two later I see "IT BEGINS IS TRENDING!11!!" on the screen. Little things like that really need to be watched. It breaks the illusion. For me, anyway.

Some might say you're nit-picking, but I honestly agree that such little things add up and help really ruin the illusion of professional wrestling, and help to build a subconscious (at the very least) resistance to enjoyment of the product.

i agree, in my opinion kane has always been able to handle his own on the mic. he isnt the best on it, but what he does do, he does great. he is well versed, and very well spoken. to me, it adds to the luster of the "masked" kane, here you have this visble monster, which becomes more terrifying when you throw in the fact he is smart and all that jazz
