I have been waiting to do this all year. Jeritron was one of the friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of conversing with and his love of film was unsurpassed by anyone I have ever known.
I think dedicating an annual award to the best of the years films would be an excellent way of honoring his memory.
I understand, I may not be the most popular or liked person on this site but I all I ask of you is if you won't do this for me, do it for him.
If you need to jog your memory on which movies came out in 2011, here is a very helpful link.

If everyone just put their votes here, there really wouldn't be much suspense at all. Though if people think that would be a better idea, I am all for it.

Dont turn something cool into Faggot-town USA with PMs, Fangel
considered calling those wrestling forum awards The Jeri's. Then decided not to.

To make this extra tight, you should name each award after a Lost character.

Would've liked to take part in this but I've rarely watched recent films for the past couple of years so haven't seen most of this years films yet. Don't go the cinema that often these days and I usually just wait to get any films that peak my interest on DVD a few years later.
Nice idea though.

You don't HAVE to vote for everything or all the categories, perhaps just the movies you feel deserve a nod.

I've seen about 3 films that were released this year. And one of them was Harry Potter, which I spent the majority of laughing at some daft bird who wouldn't stop bawling her eyes out.

Heard an interview with the directors. They admitted that they recreated some of the facebook interactions, but the storyline and interaction with the family was real.

I haven't watched any newly released films in a few years, so maybe I'll cast my votes for 2011 in 2015.

Can we vote for more than one film?

I've grouped the sci-fi with fantasy.
Also, sadly no. Just one movie vote per category.

UUnless people want to edit their votes for a seperate sci-fi category.

I was going to do this but then I realised nearly all of the films I have seen this year were 2010. I think Monsters (brilliant), Paul (good) and The Way Back (good) are maybe the only ones I can recall seeing from this year. This time next year I could probably write a brilliant list for 2011.
Best Fantasy - Planet of the Apes (?)
Best Drama -
Best Comedy - Anuvahood
Best Action - Mission Impossible 5
Best Documentary -
Best Thriller - Human Centipede 2
Best Animated Feature Film -
