Reasons to turn HBK heel:

1) With HHH supposedly on his way out to film these other movies, the WWE is going to need a top heel. The WWE has been teasing a heel turn by Michaels for weeks now. I agree with Heyman when I say this is the perfect time to do so.

2) The next question your going to ask is "How do we turn Shawn heel". Simple. You have him use a weapon (a chair, the title belt, hell even the ring bell will work here) and hit Benoit over the head and you let Shawn win the title tonight. Not at Bad Blood, not at Summerslam. But tonight. Having Shawn win against Benoit, who is arguably the top face right now (Right behind is Jericho and Michaels). Also having Shawn win with a weapon, shows his cowardice. JR will put Benoit way over with his "Dammit's" and his "This is not right" If it goes down this way.

Reasons to turn Benoit heel:

1) Personally (and most people will disagree) but I think Benoit's gimmick has become stale. I think he works so much better as a heel. I would mark out for him either way, but to have Ruthless aggresion (or toothless aggression) as it is for Benoit, he needs to be a heel and striking everything that walks, faces and heels alike.

2) I also think Benoit could draw more as a heel. The problem is is that we have had a heel champ for so long that the WWE is going to want to keep the strap on the belt of a person who is a face. Benoit is a face right now and it would probably be disastrous to both Benoit and the WWE to have a heel champ. However, Benoit is such a good worker it might work.

Reason to keep both of them face:

1) Odds are HHH will find a way to interfere in this matchup. If we are lucky he will be banned from ringside. The problem with this is that Benoit and HBK are both the strongest faces in the company. The WWE cannot drop the ball on this one because if they do they can't go back and change it and turn someone else heel 3 weeks later. If it comes down to it, I say have HHH come down and destroy both of them. I mean destroy them. Course now I have typed like a WWE booker and now I must scratch my ass and then wait till I take my Sunday shit to write next week's RAW.

Outcome of the match in my opinion

What I am praying for: An HBK title win and an HBK heel turn

What I think will happen: HBK will use a weapon and turn heel but Benoit retains.

Immitation is the highest form of flattery.

p.s. I'd rather see HBK turn heel. I don't think it will happen tonight though.

If HBK turns during the match, he has to win. But, what I think makes more sense is if Benoit wins with say a small package, they do a respect handshake, and then HBK lays him out with a savage beating.

I'm not toally against having HBk turn and win, but the problem there is that Benoit is going to likely drop the title to HHH at Summerslam. Might as well leave the title strong rather than doing three switches in 3 months.

Benoit turning heel makes no sense to me, why would he do it? Maybe he could turn after Summerslam when he loses the title, but no until then.

I think Michaels would be a better heel now, and Benoit around Summerslam time.

Here's the problem I'm running into... I think HBK is a BIGGER face than Benoit, so ultimately, people will be behind HBK even if he cheats. I would say turn Benoit, and I have a decent way it could be done...

Basically have the two go at it for a nice long time... In the end, Shawn wins, not by cheating, now with the superkick, but some sort of rollup. After the match, the two shake hands, and during the shake, Benoit snaps, locks on the crossface, and doesn't let go... Have HBK be in it for a few minutes, and have the show go off the air with HBK passing out in the hold, and Benoit still wrenching it back...

Next week, Either Eric B takes the belt off Shawn, or Shawn forfeits because his shoulder and neck is torn all to hell, and he can't wrestle. EB then sets up a world title tourny, which Benoit will not only dominate, but try to injure whoever gets in his way. Also, Benoit needs to remain silent the entire time... After he wins the title back, the next Raw, Benoit should come out with Vince McMahon. Vince should give a speech about how the WWE now has a champion who won't pussy out, and how they have a real champion who is a real crippler ( sort of bad mouthing Lesnar.)

Think about it, Benoit hurts HBK, destroys everyone, and aligns himself with Vince... Later HBK comes back, and the crowd is hot looking for someone to take down Benoit... It would work.

Benoit needs to stay a face for the enitrety of his title run, it's been forever since RAW has had a face as World Champion, Goldberg didn't draw shit so he doesn't count. HBK has become stale as the old school babyface on RAW; hopefully he turns into the cocky bastard he once was instead of some lousy old school heel.

I think Michaels will win and turn. If he doesn't win, I still think he is gonna turn. And I doubt this will end cleanly.

I much prefer cocky heel HBK, the guy who blew his nose on the Canadian Flag while HHH was fighting Bret; the guy who used to use the most humiliating double-team move: push the guy while your partner is crouched behind them; the guy who brought in the WWF Attitude Era and started D-Generation X.

Thats the guy I want to see. His interviews and skits were hilarious. Remember the DX Presidential speech? Also, to J.R, "Gerth Brooks, ya fat tub o' goo!"

I miss that HBK.

I miss DX.

Hell I miss 1997.

Anyway, if you're turning one of the workers here it needs to be Michaels, Chris has no real reason to turn, unless they play him up as a cocky heel who "did it all on his own when no one else though he could do it."

Problem with turning HBK heel though, is the same one Benoit will face. The fans WANT so desperately to cheer both, that it's going to be hard to turn without the loser losing some credibility.

Michaels can afford to lose the credibility but to be honest the night they turn Benoit, the fans won't be so much pissed, as much as they would be absolutely clueless.

Very tricky situation, overall I say turn Michaels. He could probably pull it off better.
