Post ideas for a new championship. They can be either serious or ridiculous. I'm going to start with the latter.

WWE Triple Threat Championship

Champion will be crowned after a tournament of triple threat matches, the final match being a triple threat match.

Title can only be defended in triple threat matches.

2 #1 contenders can only be decided within two different triple threat matches.

No rematch clause for title holder.

Doesn't Vince currently hold that title?

I think Punk's on his way to getting it if he is.

Nice. I actually prefer Punk as champion, with all he brings to the table. With his "wrestling ability" and his "educated feet."

Instead of the Hardcore Title, let's have the Hardware Title... a belt which can only be defended in Table, Ladder, Chair, TLC, Falls Count Anywhere and [insert random weapon] on a pole matches.

I also like the idea of an Internet Title, which can only be defended on events which are streamed live online.

Up until Vladimir Kozlov was future endeavoured, I was also all for bringing back the European Title and only having it contested by wrestlers who are from or billed as being from Europe. If they did it now it'd just be the British and Irish plus Santino Title, which doesn't really have the same ring to it, does it...?

I wouldn't mind some kinda title for Superstars and possibly NXT. An 'Internet Title' wouldn't be a bad idea for this. It'll give people like Tyson Kidd, Trent Baretta, Curt Hawkins and all the other Superstars/NXT guys some direction and purpose. Even if it is basically a jobber title.

WWE Extreme Rules Championship.

The belt can only be contested under Extreme Rules. :shifty:

I liked the idea of diva tag-team titles, but with the shallow diva roster it'd be kinda hard to really do anything with them.

This will never be a good idea..... 99% of fans don't give a shit about the one Divas Championship, so why add a second until the first is properly utilized.....which will never happen.....

The former heavyweight championship. This belt is for rasslers who were fat and lost alot of weight. The belt will be too small to put around their waist and will be worn on a specially made hat

WWE Television Championship
A championship designed to be defended each week on both RAW and SmackDown!. The success of a TV Champion would be easy to monitor, because each champion has the same amount of defenses scheduled, the duration of their reign becomes a quick gauge and could be a very easy way to get someone over. The Miz would make a fantastic first champion, winning some sort of tournament.

WWE 15 Championship
Based on the concept of the FCW 15 Championship. The title is defended in 15 minute matches where a competitor can score as many falls as they can -- with most falls taking the match. Dolph Ziggler would make a great WWE 15 Champion.

WWE Future Championship
A title contested by younger members of the WWE, with an age limit on competing champions. If you're under 30 years of age, you're eligible to compete for the championship, and a champion could declare themselves "Champion of the Youth Movement in the WWE." Drew McIntyre would make an interesting first pick as champion.

I like this idea, but for booking purposes I'd add a stipulation that if any wrestler manages to score 3 falls he automatically wins. I also think it needs a different name. Maybe just call it the WWE TV title but have it carry said stipulations.

I'd prefer this be a lower-level King of the Ring sort of deal. And instead of the age limit, let anyone who has been with the company less than 2 years compete. Instead of carrying it as a title, the winner can be put over as the best up-and-comer of the crop. Call it the "Rising Star" tournament and give the winner a trophy instead of a belt.

One of the titles in my team's fed for the doomed Armchair Warfare comeback was gonna be named the "Ironman League". Using the FCW 15 setup (most falls in 15 minutes) but with the added stipulation that 10 defenses of the title would give you a World Title shot. So the "Ironman" concept is two-fold.

Although, it would have been a trophy rather than a belt. For some reason.

I suggest a tournament featuring the best dancers of past and present.
Ernest Miller, Disco Inferno, Rikishi, Brodus Clay, etc.

Santino, Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Drew Macyntire, Mason Ryan, William Regal, yeah... they need more Europeans for that to work.

I say the Undisputed Championship determined once a year at Wrestlemania between the Raw Champion and the Smackdown Champion, and cannot be put on the line until the next Wrestlemania. It could really put a person over and up the ante for the most important main event of the year.

Santino Championship: only Santino Marella is eligible to hold the belt. This leads to a ludicrous storyline where random wrestlers begin changing their names to Santino Marella to challenge him for the belt.

For the TV title, set a 10 and/or a 15 minute time limit for its matches. And when the time limit expires, it's a draw and the champion retains the title. Miz would use that to his advantage, giving him a lot of heat, making him the ultimate heel champion.

... and the belt looks a lot like Taz's FTW Championship with the permanant nameplate. Also, has a Cobra on it. Like, not a legit, menacing snake, but an etching of the sock puppet.

The "Belt" belt

can only be won in country whipping matches, also the belt is the belt that you use in the match

it is the most meta title ever

I liked the Cruiserweight tag team championship WCW came out with or even the old six man tag team championship (it would be the same as the trios championships in Mexico).

The Chosen One Championship: The Holder of the championship is allowed to challenge a high tier champion in a title match on PPV. Not exactly like a Money in the Bank because it would have to be a scheduled match. Basically a belt that says you are the number one contender for a championship.

After the match the title is vacant and there is either a battle royal or tournament to declare a new Chosen One.

The Chosen One belt could not be defended like a normal title so whoever has it gets his title shot at PPV unless they are suspended, fired or injuried.

Now those are great ideas. We need more trios.

I'd been thinking this would be a cool idea in the WWE. I just don't like the thought of adding a title into it as I'm just against the idea of too many titles. I think FCW does a medal instead of a title. I like that idea. Maybe not make it so much of a championship but rather like how whoever has the MITB briefcase is called "Mr. Money in the Bank", I'd like whoever holds the medal to just be "Mr. 15" or something. Just something to let the "wrestlers" stand out from the "entertainers" a bit.

My biggest prob with a 15 championship is does WWE really want to promise people 15 mins for a match on tv?

How about WWE takes a ROH-ish approach at a title, and you make an interband title that focuses on wrestling. No promos, no hype, just wrestling. It would give Daniel Bryan a title he could use wear without looking like a joke.
