Primo and Epico just won the tag titles at a house show in Oakland, Ca. Crazy. Anyone remember the last time a title changed hands at a house show?

I remember one WCW event where the Giant came out with the WCW Title and said he won it at a previous house show and Goldberg came out, speared him and Jackhammered him for the title.

I believe it was booked Giant vs Goldberg for the belt but Giant walked out with belt in hand.
I think the last one was in 2008 when Miz and Morrison beat Kofi Kingston and CM Punk for the World Tag Team titles at a house show in Canada

I thought you meant that they actually tried to say that The Giant DID win the title at a house show somewhere else and Goldberg came out at another house show and won it back.

I remember as a kid, going to see a house show, and there was some title match and I was excited and got really into the match and was amazed that the champ pulled it off.
As I grew older, I realized that the challenger for a title at a house show pretty much has 0% chance of winning.
So if more titles are switched at house shows, it could get me back into it. If I ever go to a house show.
Hopefully, this translates to more Rosa Mendes on TV.

I would say title changes at house shows are a good idea to raise attendance by giving the idea that a major event can happen at a house show. Problem is the fact that tv attendance is so low.

A few years ago when WWE came to Australia, I remember a wrestler winning a title on one show then the next show he lost it. Cannot remember who the wrestlers were or the title but I swear it happened.

<font color=goldenrod>Pretty sure I read that Paul London fucked up and went out when he wasn't supposed to during a battle royal...so Jamie Noble won the Cruiserweight Title and then London won it back the next show.</font>

I'm pretty sure with Rey still out and Del Rio out, putting the title on them would help in that hispanic demographic...

Pretty sure it has to do with the hispanic demographic...since Rey is still out and Del Rio is out.
I wonder if Blakeamus thinks it has anything to do with the hispanic demographic?

Silly Blakeamus. Hispanics don't have cable.
So is Hornswoggle kept around for the midget demographic?
Never met a midget WWE fan.

Don't the titles change often but it is not acknowledged outside of the event?
Not really that often. Less than once a year they'll do one on a tour and no acknowledge it. Then they do random shit, like having Big Show come out as IC or US champion for no reason.

i also rember lance storm lossing the CANADIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP* in europe at a house show then winning it back the next house show back in wcw.
I remember him mentioning doing this in a couple house matches somewhere down south with Terry Funk, in which Terry did a moonsault because he'd "never done one before". He lost it and won it back before the next Nitro.
Also: *fix'd.

I'm a huge fan of Primo and Rosa Mendes' body -- so this is a good thing for the WWE, in my opinion. Rumours are circulating that Evan Bourne got caught again. If that's the case, I honestly think the dude will either be released or turned into a massive jobber.

I feel like the midget wrestling fan percentage should be higher than the... big person... wrestling fan percentage.
I don't know why. Just seems like midgets would all love pro wrestling.
