View Full Version : DOA?
Whatever happened to the Disciples of Apocalypse? They seem to have dropped off the face of the earth...

Skull and 8-ball were the Harris twins in WCW, and are now in TNA.
Everyone else went on to work mostly indies I believe.

Not positive about the info by the way, so don't hold me to any of that.

I believe HBK2k is correct.
Paul Ellering was also one of DOA, or a manager or something. I think I read he was Slash in TNA, part of the Desciples of the New Church. But I'm not positive.
Also, I haven't seen TNA since last summer, so I dunno if he's even still employed there.

You are correct about Paul Ellering being with DOA,but he's not Slash
in NWA-TNA. Slash in NWA-TNA is being played by Wolfie D of PG-13.
DOA featured: Skull & 8-Ball (The Harris Boys); Crush (Crush); Chainz
(Brian Lee); and at one point, they had Paul Ellering as their manager.
Both The Harris Boys were working with NWA-TNA; now Don does
still appear there every so often, and Ron was working as the tour
director for Macho Man's CD Tour. Brian Lee is still doing the indies occasionally, and I believe may be working TNA.
Crush lives in Hawaii, and makes an appearance or two every now
and then.Paul Ellering lives up north, and in addition to working out
and motivational speaking, he is busy with his dog sled racing and
will do appearances for the $$$.

My b. I think I may have been thinking of Brian Lee as well. Wasn't he part of the New Church with Slash?

Brian Lee was indeed part of 'The New Church' with Slash.
I also seem to recall Mike Awesome being brought out as a temporary
and/or one time member to fight Perry Saturn; but I need verification
on that one.

Wasn't Crush training to be a boxer?

Yeah, but he never actually had his fight. He had a back injury
(I believe it was) that kept him from going through with it. He
made an appearance at one of Macho Man's gigs, and one at
an autograph signing/wrestling show in Hawaii with a bunch of
other stars (Bret Hart,Saturn,etc..). Other than that, not much
from him.
