What could he mean (the end of the world, as we know it?).

Their's more to the puzzle of those cryptic messages.

I'm gonna put this in writing. Laurinaitis wins the Rumble and gives his Mania shot to Jericho, a la Vince in 1999. Laurinaitis has been in cahoots with Jericho the whole time, telling him to be the complete opposite of what Punk is (don't talk). We had the teaser last night of Laurinaitis wrestling, and they've been constantly telling us that "everyone is eligible for the Rumble this year." And now that Laurinaitis can't screw Punk at the Rumble because he needs to keep his job, this is his plan B.

Or something along those lines. I dreamt it all in class this morning. Would love it if it happens now. Of course, Jericho could just win the Rumble by himself, but I could see Jericho drawing a really low number and lasts a while but ultimately gets eliminated, only for Laurinaitis to secretly rig the drawing to get number 30, and wins that way with Jericho's aid.

Jericho creates a stable at the RR that allows him to win the thing without having to eliminate anyone (his stable mates jump over the top rope and bow to him).

Jericho rises to his rightful status as GOD and fights his counterpart, GOD #2 (ie CM Punk) at WrestleMania.

i believe what jericho means by it, is that hes going to end CM Punk's title reign, CM Punk keeps saying hes the best in the WORLD, and what jericho means by the end of the world as you know it, means hes going to cost him the title this sunday, because Jericho's thing was always, im the best in the world at what i do.......either way its leading up to a Punk, Jericho fued

Perhaps Jericho wins the Rumble, and challenges both Punk and Bryan for a title unification match at Wrestlemania... *slooge*

That's exactly what I was thinking last night. Nobody who has won the Rumble during the 2 title belt era has gone on and faced BOTH champions at Wrestlemania. Since he was the first to unify the belts originally, it would only make sense storyline-wise to be the one to do it again. Do notice in that video package they showed last night, a majority of the shots were of Jericho with a title. They panned in and out, but lots and lots of title belts were shown. I might actually consider buying Wrestlemania if it was CM Punk vs Chris Jericho vs Daniel Bryan.

Think about it this way: Raw & Smackdown are not really regarded as two separate shows anymore. The luster of having two main event titles had gone sour a long time ago. Honestly, I'd rather them go back to 1 main event title and bring back the Cruiserweight title in its place.

I do like the Johnny Ace winning the Rumble & giving it to Jericho as mentioned above, but that makes Jericho look too weak upon his return. To build up a big match, he needs to come off stronger than that.

Interesting idea, and it kind of makes sense, but I don't think the WWE will go this route. Something like this would be beyond the comprehension of most fans.

I think there's a greater chance of Mick Foley being in cahoots with Laurinitis than Jericho.

CM Punk + Mick Foley = promo's.

Punk loses the title to Ziggler, wins the Rumble, Jericho wins the title at Chamber?

Totally didn't think of that, which is weird, because it's pretty obvious. And look -- if they are really super-high on Ziggler, they could have Ziggler in the Mania match between Punk and Jericho, making it a Triple Threat.

The greater benefit to having Punk win the Royal Rumble is that faces make great challengers. The only real downside I see to the scenario is that Punk losing a WWE Title match and then winning the Rumble makes him look pretty indestructible. But that's only a small complaint. Some might argue that it makes him just look talented and cunning.

Plus, you can have the final two in the Rumble be Punk and Jericho, foreshadowing their Mania title match.
