Yeah it hella sucks. Like I said in another post the best thing about TNA is the way its filmed in my opinion. Acting sucks, wrestler gimmicks are not believable...the wrestling aspect of it is good...doesn't entertain me though.

TNA is pretty damn awful. I've tried to get into it but there is something about the whole production that just blows.

I treat TNA as the Nursing Home I can go to and check up on my old favorites, make sure they are getting treated well by the staff and then go on my way.

They are trying everything that WCW did to make them successful however instead of hiring the top names WWE has they just take their rejects.
Also booking probably involves picking names from a hat

Bully Ray and Steiner are money.
The rest are indy wrestling quality.

Why does TNA iMPACT feel like a low budget 2 hour Sunday Heat? I'm watching TNA for the first time since Abyss beat up RVD or something and I remembered how dull it can be 8 out of 10 times.
Meh.
St. Jimmy

Because no one cares about it except Austin Aries. He's not enough to get the entire show on track.

I think I'm going to watch TNA for another reason. I'm going to watch it to laugh at its fuckups and directionless storylines. I said Roode vs. Crimson may bump the company up quite well, but they continue being shit... it might not be enough at all.

Yeah sick bump for sure. But if he's fine, then that botch made Aries look even better cause he immediately hit the brainbuster and put him in the last chancery.
Austin Aries is wonderful.

Sting is only real thing holdin it together atm. His Insane Icon run was pretty funny but i cant take him seriously as an authority figure, but he is the only half decent thing about it.what they need2 do is drive a truck load of cash and full creative control 2 Paul Heymans house nad beg him 2 work his magic.it wud take a few months but they cud turn it around.as it is now they aint gettin close2 wwe

I can tell this storyline will end in a big stinky pile of green baby shit. A farting angle will be useful here.
I've tried watching TNA twice in the last month. They have like four weeks worth OnDemand. I like Bobby Roode(?) And I really liked Austin Aeries. Everything and everyone else left me scratching my head. I remember Jeff Jarrett being a lot better. I wasn't suprised when Jeff Hardy still couldn't cut a believable promo. Sting is horrible on the mic. He has one gear and that's it. When talk gets serious, he's always like " HAHAHA I'M THE STINGER HA!!!!!". Its weird.

I agree Roode and Aries are doing good, the knockouts are good, Crimson and Morgan are okay, but the rest, like you said, there's definitely lots missing for it to work.

TNA was impressive from England what with the full crowd and all. However, all those old guys got to go, people actually like their younger talent I don't know why the management thinks they need Hogan and Bischoff when their highest ratings are the Knockouts.
Seems like a bad business call to me.

It's funny because it's the most obvious thing, yet TNA doesnt want to acknowledge/ impliment it. They have the pieces, just give the wrestling fans what they cant get from WWE. I'm trying to find the clip from the WCW DVD where Eric Bischoff (kinda ironic) is talking about doing the opposite of WWE to make WCW successful. Tag Team, X Division, good Knockouts matches, just feature more of what you showed in London and the company will only get better.

Jim Ross was asked on Twitter if he “hates” WWE rival TNA. He says, “Hell, no.”
Ross explained on his official website, “Why would I hate TNA? That makes no sense. It provides fans with more product to enjoy and more importantly, to me, provides wrestlers with another place to live their dream and earn a living. Same goes for ROH or any other promotion. The healthier those companies are the better it is for the overall genre. Any one who thinks that I ‘hate’ other wrestling organizations is 100% Pet Coon Goofy.”

So does Impact always take place in Georgia?
#1-norm-fan
02-11-2012, 12:04 PM
I really wish TNA was good. Especially since they try to hype the "wrestling matters" thing. They're doing a disservice to the industry by claiming to be "real wrestling" while they're really just a shitty version of a "sports entertainment" company. Doesn't show the idea that wrestling still matters in a good light.
Also, why does England seem to be into TNA?
Impact airs on free TV over here where as WWE can only be viewed as part of a "pay" system. This is why Impact has much higher ratings than Raw/SmackDown over here. This accessibility probably makes for a wider TNA audience over here.
#1-norm-fan
02-11-2012, 12:37 PM
That's crazy to think about. So would you say TNA is actually "more popular" over there? That can't be the case, right?

Jesus, they seriously had this "Garrett Bischoff's trainer" mystery set to be answered... while hyping Hulk Hogan's return at the same time. They have to be trying to be this fucking stupid.
Yeah, I found that very strange.
"Who will be revealed as Garrett's trainer!?"
