I don't know why he got canned from the WWE and I'm not interested to be honest. Whether it was lack of interest or a violation of Wellness really doesn't matter so much. I just thought he had some potential and had matured to the point where he could have been a decent supplemental talent.
What are your thoughts?
Him and Carlito was the greatest tag team of all time, not keen on his most recent run tho.

He was better than the Narcissist sans Bobby Heenan.

I just don't think they had anything for him.

Didn't really care much for him. His wrestling ability was average, but his promos were only subpar.

They didn't have anything for him because he wasn't in the main event and that's the only level that the Raw writers can put any effort into.
(Granted, they're showing some improvement.)

Did he ever hold any championships? I don't recall 1 single reign as any champion.

He did not

that's weird for them to have someone stick around for as long as he did and not win one single title. Especially when you have someone like Carlito win the U.S. title on their debut.

They got title shots at WM 22, but lost the match.

Well he is still doing his thing. Working Ring Ka King with more or less the same gimmick and it works for him. Seems like an alright guy. Glad he can work outside WWE.

I respectfully disagree, and think he sucked ass.
I don't see the "potential" in him at all, especially considering that he was just yet another cookie-cutter muscleman. Even his biggest break as "The Masterpiece" (his initial debut) was contingent on him being on the gas and looking the shit. It was kind of cruelly ironic how he got in trouble for a habit that netted him the physique for his gimmick and push. Without them, he never would have gotten it. This is evidenced by his FIRST return, where he was "leaner and meaner" and pretty much taken as a joke because he was very noticeably smaller in a very short period of time.
To his credit, this is what he seems to want to do, and all power to him. Hope he can sustain himself and make a living and all that. I just don't want to see him on my TV or internet feed. His mic and ring work, though improved, are still cringeworthy. He's still the shits, just not drizzling like he used to be at the beginning of his WWE career. I think all he has going for him is his ability to sell locking in a full nelson. Whooptie-fucking-doo.

What is this Ring Ka King thing I keep seeing people mention? Is it like King of the Ring with the winner earning the right to face Randall Flagg at the dark tower?

Are you making with the funny, or are you unaware there is a Bollywood TNA spinoff with which there is a thread about?
If it is the latter: http://www.tpww.net/forums/showthread.php?t=116202

I liked him. Nothing major or anything, but the guy had a great look, and his ring-work definitely had improved upon his return, especially around his face turn.
With a decent storyline and angle he could have mounted to something. Never mind, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him again in the WWE some day.

He said in a couple interviews that HHH commented on how well he progressed in the ring, keep at it, and they're gonna repackage him. Then he got the call.

He was super-young when he joined the first time and I heard there was a lot of backstage drama focusing around him. I think he could take the experience given him and continue to better himself.

I always thought Chris Masters lacked charisma and in ring ability. He is like a poor mans Lex Lugar, but without the talent.
What Would Kevin Do?

I was never a huge fan, but he was definitely improving before he got released. He was having some really good matches on Superstars. Hopefully he develops his personality and skills more and gets a second shot sometime.

Lex was horrible when he started and barely competent in his prime. I think he had a lot of years working before he ever made it big.

But he shook them! Didn't he? Woulda' been much more believable if he held them in the hold for a while, until they're about to tap/pass out, then give them the full nelson slam.
He actually made Cena "pass out" with the hold on more than one occasion.

sad thing is, the Full Nelson is a legit finish. A neck crank that turns into a choke when properly locked in.
If he could have gone with the Hart Breaker variant (Full Nelson while sitting on the opponent's back, ala Stu Hart) or added a Body Scissors, that would have made the hold look nastier.

And yet...Lex was entertaining at times and him beating NWO Hogan in WCW was one of the best moments in the history of WCW.

The Torture Rack was an incredibly electrifying move when performed by Lex Luger.
