AND THE BEEF CONTINUES!

John Cena went on his Twitter to bash The Rock once again as they get closer to their match at Wrestlemania.
He wrote: “Topeka Kansas. Get ready for the fighting fruity pebble! Also pumped for abu dahbi this week! WrestleMania here soon,” Cena tweeted before Friday’s RAW house show. “Wonder if Dwayne will be there……hmmmm….let me…Nope. Lotta static bout Dwayne’s absence in Topeka. No need to worry. He will be there April 1…then we settle it.”
The Rock then replied on his own account: “I was electrifying Topeka when you were sucking on yum rockets in college. My boot. Your ass. #Wrestlemania.”
Then Cena tweeted back: “So, it’s apparent that my actor buddy Dwayne doesn’t like homosexuals or secondary education. Very classy. Tell Brian (Gewirtz) to write u better stuff.”

I agree, thank you for being a champ #1-wwf-fan.

Rock is a natural heel, he comes off so cocky plus he's just out of the WWE Universe as far as I'm concerned. I really hope WWE can get The Rock somehow to get booed and Cena cheered in the match at Mania, that would make me so happy.

as much as I hate to say it..... cena is winning! if there can be a winner before the match... everything he says about the Rock is true and all the rock can do is make is crappy movies and dis Cena. Fact is Cena is there every week and Rock is not.

It's sad that Cena is going to basically be the "heel" for the WrestleMania match (Based on crowd reaction that is) but I really don't think there's anything that can be done to change that at this point. They seem to be trying something with Cena in this home stretch here but it's way too tall of an order.

Blame Miz for low buy rate of the PPV which features the Rocks first match in 7 years. How does that compute logically when the selling point for the show was 1.) the Rocks return to in right action and 2.) the Rock and Cena teaming up as a once and a life time moment.

Right... so the two selling points of the PPV can be seen as directly relating to... The Rock. Hm... ITS THE MIZ FAULT! Right? Right? Right.

Maybe there will be a swerve at the end of the match and the WWE fans will turn face.

Oh I'm with you on this. I feel like the crowd turning on The Rock at Wrestlemania and supporting John Cena would be really awesome. The problem is I highly doubt this will happen. People should realize that Cena is passionate about the WWE and he wants to be there. The Rock is one of my all time favorites, but for this feud I support Cena as he has basically owned The Rock on all occassions and I feel that though some may boo him (I'm in the minority that has always cheered him) people respect what he does. We'll see what happens, but I highly doubt the crowd will go against Rock.

The rock is serious business in Miami he won't get booed unless he turns on the crowd.

He wouldn't even successfully be able to turn on the crowd.

Honestly, I love to hate Cena too..it's nothing personal..lol I love his work ethic and he seems like a very passionate and respectable individual..I just don't like his character in wrestling. LOL..The Rock, like most of you, I always loved (no homo), but the lack of his presence makes me really not care if he wins..I'd actually rather see him lose. I guess it all depends too..if the Rock really is staying long term or is he just wrestling Wrestlemania and bouncing again.

This. I don't care who anyone thinks is winning, its essentially like two retarded kids in a race

I'm hoping the build up will pick up as we approach but all we've had is the same shit so far:

Cena: I'm gonna rock the house at [insert city here]. Too bad Dywane doesn't give a shit enough to show up
Rock: [Childish insult]. Cena, Im going to beat your ass...... at Wrestlemania! #bootstoasses
Cena: Whatever, Dywane [Childish insult]

1) Dear Mr Cena, Abu Dhabi is not spelt Abu Dahbi.
2) The rock is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, Hollywood, without getting too crude about it, is one big homo fest. I highly doubt Rock is homophobic at all.

3) Another couple of weeks and Rock is booked to be on the show full time til 'Mania so Cena needs to find a new insult for Rocky as he will be there every week.

4) With Jericho booked to do a Fozzy summer tour, is Cena going to start shitting on generic ho for not being there every week?

5) The SS buyrate was low for 2 reasons A) noone gave a shit about Cena teaming with The Rock, in storyline terms it made no sense at all. B) the rest of the show was "meh".

CM Punk vs. Del Rio was a huge selling point for Survivor Series. They set the ring on fire.

Oh I agree. Its just that Cena wont let it go, and has been using the same old arguement since their fued started.

The problem I have with Cena is that, the fan in me, has waited for the Rock to return for 7+ years, and its very likely the lasst we will ever see 'in ring' Rock.

And now he finally has returned after fans have begged him almost daily for those 7 years, and its being wasted with Cena going on and on like a broken record. Catchphrases aside Rocky brought new material every night, Cena is still doing the same promo from 9 months ago.

Just imagine how good a Rock vs CM Punk fued would have been.

Yeah the Rock left, but he came back, so now we finally have him back were going to shit on him for leaving? It doesn't work like that.[/rant]

I cant help it if TPWW voted badly :D

Wrestlemania was easily a better card than SS.

Also, Alberto Del Rio, really,... really, ......really? I apologise in advance but I find him bland, average in the ring, and sort of a rip off of Eddie Guerreo, but done very badly.

Yeah. But there was this PPV in July that had a Punk match that was about a million times more of a selling point in which they set the ring on fire much more as well.

Money in the Bank was clearly the card of the year. I don't know what those Survivor Series heads were thinking.

And yes, Wrestlemania disappointed the fuck out of me. I'm still kinda bitter about it to this day.

Well, it's Rock/Cena, a match people have been talking about for years.

The thing is that since WrestleMania is being held in Miami (The Rock's hometown), WWE has refused to have him go heel, as he did in 2003.

If THAT Rock had shown up to feud with Cena, I'm sure this match would have a lot more buzz around it than it does. AND the whole build-up would've been a lot more interesting.

The last tweet by Cena seems a bit odd seeing as the Rock said nothing about gays unless he's referring to some other tweet not mentioned.

Didn't even notice the double meaning until now (and a quick search on urban dictionary).

Literally thought he meant those ice cream bars shaped like rockets.

The more and more Cena goes on with the feud in this manner, the more and more it becomes obvious that he needs to shut up or have someone from the company write the material - he doesn't come across as the guy pointing out how much of a hypocrite the Rock is, he comes across as a self entitled jilted fan.

“In Wichita today. Maybe my buddy Dwayne from #Teamfilmit will be here…probably not. But maybe ill be lucky enuff to get a message about how he used to be in WWE and once went to Wichita, and how good it was…u know before he left…and the whatever came back…only to say he was home and never leaving….only to leave again.”
“Being your boots movie star. Ill see u april 1st. Meanwhile ill do my job…one that I would never leave. The one I love. The one u left. #everyotherdaybesideswrestlemaina. That should hold #Teamfilmit over until the Super Bowl.”
“But ill leave u with this..I speak fact, not politics. What is Dwayne gonna do…..Get u guys to boo me louder? Yeah…that’s worked for the past 5 years :) RISE ABOVE HATE. HUSTLE. LOYALTY. RESPECT.”

Its one thing to chastise the guy for lying to the fan base about never leaving and then promptly leaving. Its another to chastise the guy for being a movie star - which at best comes across as sour grapes and at worst comes across as professional jealousy. Sorry, John. Hollywood doesn't want you and after movies like the Marine and 12 rounds, I can't say that I blame them. Worse yet, let's chastise a guy that as far as we all understand is NOT under contract and has no obligation to be here. Its not even silly, its kinda punk-ish.

Which is not to say that the Rock is absolved in all of this - he isn't. The man promised the fans a bill of goods and didn't deliver. He hasn't been seen live on ANY WWE show in months and if fans wanted to boo the guy but its probably justified but only for breaking that promise. Like Cena coming across as entitled, booing the guy for being a movie star now is wielding a ridiculous sense of entitlement. He left, he said he was never leaving again. I didn't believe him and frankly, I don't see why any fan should have believed him. Beyond that, its nonsensical. Consider:

You: I love my job, I want to be with this company and I'm never leaving!

Hollywood: We want to offer you an opportunity where you make more, work less, travel less and get more time with your family. Plus, you're substantially less likely to be crippled when you leave this profession.

Tough to blame the guy for saying no.

Bottom line, the feud blows right now. Rock wants to swing dick for having done everything that Cena is doing and Cena comes across as a whiny jilted fan. Here's hoping for substantial pick up soon.

Agreed. Cena's full of shit. The idea that Cena wouldn't be doing the exact same thing Rock is if he had the opportunity is ridiculous. He really comes across as jealous and bitter when he mocks Rock for being a movie star.

Not really what I'm arguing since there's no way to prove whether it is or isn't. As I said above, if this is the best Cena can do then someone else needs to be directing the "promos."

I will say that given that this is generally in line with what Cena has had to say about it (mostly what every wrestler seems to have to say about it), I'll bet its not far off of the tuth

The Rock and John Cena are back to taking shots at each other via Twitter, prior to their face-to-face meeting at the WrestleMania 29 press conference in New Jersey later today.
Cena started by tweeting this:
“Looks like my buddy Dwayne is headed to Metlife Stadium tomorrow for WrestleMania 29…I got nothing to do..see u there amigo.”
“Saw Dwayne wished me happy valentines…For those that didn’t get the ‘pink part’ thing he once again is re referencing my mangina. So I propose this…Cena tampons. ‘That time of the month got u feeling bad, just put a lil Cena inside ya :) he’ll make ya feel fine’ #champax. Or Cena feminine wash. ‘Tough day south of the equator? Lather some Cena on there and they can’t smell you!’ #massCENAgil. That’s the late nite act kiddos. Be back for the morning show at Metlife Stadium tomorrow. See u then movie star.”
Later, someone tweeted The Rock that Cena called himself a tampon, to which The Rock tweeted:
“Mission accomplished. (Easy mission btw).”
