View Full Version : Kane’s New, Ugly Costume Makes Him Look Too Goofy

I can’t even begin to take Kane’s attire remotely seriously.

In all honesty, the outfit that he debuted when he returned to WWE two months ago might be one of the worst looking costumes I’ve ever seen. I don’t know what the guys who thought of this attire were thinking. The mask looks pretty good - wouldn’t mind the return of his 2002/3 mask though.

The top is unnecessary, and the flame on his right leg looks like a crayon drawing. Why didn’t they use his most recent tights when he was unmasked?

I agree, his current outfit is awful, it reminds me of a cheap K-Mart costume, or a really bad CAW outfit.

Personally I've always liked his original outfit the most, his first mask was downright sinister.

Ok, Tim Gunn.

eh, it looks pretty decent to me. Certainly, I liked his original attire/style better, but it's fine.

I hope they bring back haircuts and workouts to WWE.

:(

He is alright if used properly/sparingly. Also at 45 I'll cut him some slack. And his gear wouldn't be so terrible if they would get rid of that flame on his leg.

I actually think it makes him look more of a bad ass, even though his hair looks like a wig.

Haven't been able to take Kane seriously since he took off the mask...and now he just put one on for no reason.

I wonder if the wig they used when he unmasked back in 2003 is lying around somewhere? :y:

No way! The flame makes him go faster. Could you imagine how slow he'd be in the ring without it?

Psssh. That wasn't a wig. It's just that Kane's scalp was super fragile due to the fire.

Kane's great in the ring MoFo, what are you talking about?

He's average at best. Big, slow and awkward, not quite like the Great Khali but similar ideas...I don't think I've seen Kane wrestle yet, unless throwing haymakers all match is wrestling.

I thought I'd bump this thread in honor of that awful flame on Kane's right leg being removed. Now if he can just quit wearing that welding mask to the ring and use another wig, like the one he had on when he unmasked back in 2003. Should be lying around somewhere!

I don't get the welding mask thing at all, it reminds me of the mask out of the first predator movie to an extent. So he has a mask over a mask...for some reason, his current mask looks like shit, looks like a pair of red lycra underwear stretched out over his head. :wtf:

The whole outfit really does look cheap, its like they came across it in "ye olde box o gimmicks" and its timewarped from 1991 to enjoy some tv time in 2012.

I like that 'welding mask'. Makes him look pretty fucking scary and monsterous. The only beef I have is when they show him backstage before his match without it on, and then five minutes later he puts it on, just to walk to the ring.

I love Kane, but I have just not been able to care since his return. I do agree that his current look is really not quite the best artistic design the WWE has going for it. I also think that his pyro should go off just before his theme kicks up, rather than before the start of it.

Have you seen his real hair grown out? No way will that look intimidating. He's going to be using the wig indefinitely.

Kane should look more like Bane.

Creepy middle aged dad Kane would be way scarier

If they want to make Kane really scary they should give him Cody's Dashing gimmick.

Since it's pretty hard to think of stuff for Kane to do all the time, maybe the WWE could have Kane lose a match against some babyface with the stipulation being that if Kane loses then he has to star in a new WWE Films comedy, where he plays a middle-aged former horror movie villain dad trying to deal with a promiscuous daughter and possibly homosexual son.

For the next few months, we can see clips of Kane on set, Chokeslamming stage-hands over spilled coffee and confusing his character with reality, and destroying the "real life" boyfriend of the actress playing his daughter.

Then "Monster Dad" comes out in cinemas, with bonus footage of Vince McMahon telling the director that he wants to see Kane's three foot penis in the movie playing over the end credits.
